The Cruiser Mk. III, a tier II British Light Tank. It's taken long enough.
About this creation
The Cruiser Mk. III from behind, showing the engine deck and some rear detail.
The interior of the turret, showing how I made the turret's shape. I am perfectly aware that the turret is slightly outsized.
The suspension mechanism. Imagine a rubber band double-looped around the two balls.
The Cruiser Mk. III (A13 Mk. I) was a British cruiser tank designed to be fast and able to exploit gaps in enemy lines. The Cruiser Mk. III mounted a QF 2-pounder gun, and used the Christie suspension system, which its designer had advocated be mounted on cruiser tanks to allow for more speed and armor. 65 were built, and they saw limited service early in the war.
So, wow, it is indeed about time.
I've had lots of school, and it's been interfering with my lego building. As a result, it's been rather hard for me to find time to build this, but now, here it is. The Cruiser Mk. IV should be a much shorter wait, as it's basically this hull with a different turret. This model is the second in my British Medium line. Enjoy!

Nice jobe here again! That suspension and turret design... But where's the derp gun?!? Looks great!
Thank you! The cruiser III unfortunately doesn't get a derp gun, but I believe you mean the Cruiser II (which gets a hilarious one.) That gun is off trolling low tiers on Mines, one-shotting low tier tanks left and right, and drinking the tiers of low-tier tank drivers. And making me laugh. Madly.
