About this creation
Human Evolution: It is known that anatomically modern humans emerged from our evolutionary lineage sometime between 300,000 and 400,000 years ago. However, our hominid ancestors had been living in Africa (and elsewhere) millions of years prior to this event. Build a creation that represents some aspect of the human lineage before the emergence of Homo sapiens, be it the skull of Ardipithecus ramidus or a mini-fig scale scene of a Neanderthal hunting party or even a cave painting.

500 000 years later...
Harry Keivmann /VS/ Misha

I feel bad for not going all-out on MOC Olympics since my first entry last year... There is a lot I would change and add if I had time to build during the week, like adding trees and such, but that is not critical, I think. Misha was surprisingly fast to build and with Harry, I just went with the first idea for each body part every time, so there was no rebuilding, meaning that I could easily build this in a weekend. Disappointing results, maybe, but in the end, I hope this will be enough.

Note how the cat is suspended in the air on a pillar of pressurized diarrhea. Eww.

Quoting Nick Pascale You know how much I love your work, now can you please vote for my LEGO IDEAS Project: Minnie Mouse Bowtique, based on the DISNEY Jr. Show? It's aimed at young girls who have so few sets to play with, I did my homework and it's 92% close to the show! You know the routine LEGO IDEAS needs that all important 10,000 votes I have just 91 so can you help me please? https://ideas.lego.com/projects/147115
It has been a while since I ahve been there. But some of the questions are made much easier with your building style.

How come I never saw this beauty? It looks like an exhibit in the AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY in NYC! Love it and the excitement it has! I just came on to tell you I added the cabinet and tweaked my Minnie's Bowtique, and stumbled across this spectacular model! Very realistic!!

Okay, so I do respect you as one of the most talented builders on MOCpages don't get me wrong. And I really appreciated that you check out things that most people pass by and don't fangirl over the super popular stuff, that's a great quality. But I think you're a bit of a hater... now don't get me wrong (I just read your bio a couple times and it's actually pretty funny.), I'm not gonna chew you out for being a Atheist. But if you chew out the Christians on MOCpages well... don't expect to be popular. :) I personally, being a Christian, think MOCpages is pretty full of Christians but I don't look down on you for not being one (<If that makes any sense.) Your feedback, while some call nit-picky, I find very helpful. I'd love your critique on some of my newer builds (Aka the SW Lighting Experiment) but I'm not asking you to comment. (or am I? :P) Anyway, that's just my thoughts. Oh and cool entry, btw. :D

Though I disagree with the message from a scientific (not religious) point of view due to genetic entropy, fitness cost, the Cambrian explosion, and the lack of transitionary fossils of which Darwin himself said there should be an innumerable number of, and the flawed charts in books such as Jerry Coin's "Why Evolution is True", I really am delighted with the fluidity of that marvelous cat! The scene really comes to life!

Quoting Lee Jones You are still on mocpages? Was think that in my absence you would have been kicked-out with my lack of guidance. Impressive. Have you been good whilst I have been away? Lee.
Actually, I was never really guided by you. But watch out, if you keep that attitude and stop being friends with people in power, you might get kicked yourself. Not trying to be too hateful, just want people not to need to learn what I have the hard way.

Quite a fantastic diorama depicting the life of our ancestors. The whole MOC is really top notch, the caveman, big cat, to the little stand they're on. I also like how you've linked this to your first entry from R1 to what the "cat ate". Anyway, off note, I'm really bummed that you didn't make it through.

Monkey Man vs. Jaguar. The Jaguar looks great; the monkey man needs a little work. This is a reminder of how, in the evolution of our species or the efforts by the aborigines were ones of survival and how their epic forged a future for what would soon become man. Great reminder, thanks.

Deus, you have been ejected from the games for violating the MOCOlympics rules and MOCpages Terms of Use and Service. It's a real shame. You're an amazing builder and your entries were all fantastic. However, such blatant disrespect will not be tolerated.

I really love this entry. My favorite part is Misha, but the neanderthal figure is pretty cleverly made too. The only things bothering me a little is the pillar of pressurized diarrhea and the sci-fi-ish base. (But both of those things don't really "count" I think you know what I mean)

Quoting Dennis Price This is a great build, but as far as I'm concerned you are in violation of MOCpages terms of use and may be subject to disciplinary action by the administrators. I refuse to vote for or against this model until that issue is resolved.
Is it because I support evolution? (I AM JOKING! THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL AND LEGITIMATE QUESTION, I KNOW WHAT REALLY IS THE POINT!!!)

Deus, you really do put your bricks where your mouth is. This is a terrifyingly ingenious build, perfect in it's form and function. The cat has a sense of life and feline power, and the human's grittiness and hunch betray his hard life and adrenaline rush. Brilliant work - if you continue at this level, the coming rounds will be a cinch.

Quoting Nicholas Dreadman Ugh, who though this category would be a good idea. MOCpages is so... christian (Sorry guys, its your old book vs our legitimate evidence) Oh, that's what the link is about, isn't it?
I do not think the category is controversial at all. They could have named it better, but it really has enough wiggle-room even for those who are afraid of building against their beliefs. Why, they could even make a MOC showing evolution theory to be wrong if they want. I think 96% of the 'Pages just wants to prove they are religious in every way possible and with extreme desperation. Are they afraid we do not believe they are christian (I do not, but that is an even longer story...)? As for the disfunctional links, no - it is a joke I have been running since R2 and am waiting for a judge to see it.
