....my second largest Lego Transformer.... Part 1
About this creation
Well, I am finally done, here is Part 1 of my Youtube 2014 Fan's choice build - G1 Decepticon City - Trypticon! This is city mode. It is very close to the G1 incarnation in both look and transformation - except my version, like my Metroplex is quite bigger than the original G1 toy! Working ramps and guns make this a great playable area for your minifigs or Kreons! The table I photographed city mode on is 4 feet in diameter so you get an idea of how big this guy is!

This model is fully transformable from Decepticon City to Battle Station to Dinosaur! Watch the Youtube Part 1 Vid for more info on this model!

Watch for posts of the remaining modes of Trypticon - Coming Soon!

Scott, try looking up repro-labels, there is a website that produces sticker sheets for existing transformer toys and third party products. I believe they have sheets of autobot and deception stickers in various sizes. http://reprolabels.com/index.php New this week, Big Bad Toy Store are planning on stocking OFFICIAL Takara sticker sheets. http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/big-bad-toy-store-to-carry-official-transformers-decals-by-ocean-designs/31565/

Congrats on your new baby girl (and finishing trypticon). Can't wait to see his robot! BTW, the tank drone's name is Brunt.

Kre-Os low price point per set is likely the cause of their inadequacy (maybe) - they could not afford to make sets with my brick count per former! But if they asked I likely would take a contract job! Just in case they are watching!
Quoting Raymond Drum WOW!! It really sprawls out on the table. The design looks great and I haven't even watched the video, yet... You mentioned Hasbro not getting good legoformer designers...maybe they need to look up north, eh? Seriously though, if they offered, would you accept?

This. Brings me back to the summer I got my hands on a cousins trypticon to play with during the summer while visiting. Ah memories. Loving the citymode and Colors. Can't wait to see him in his dinosaur mode.

From snout to tip of tail he measures in at the height of Plex (approx 34"), but since he does not stand upright ( but on an angle) in his Dino mode he is technically shorter than Plex in a side to side comparission by about 6 to 8" or so!
Quoting Stuart Lucas Wow! This was worth the wait... I'm trying to decide whether this is even bigger than your Metroplex. Perfect colourscheme and shape so far, looking forward to seeing the dino mode.

of course - I did however limit movement on the final leg design to make it stronger in Dino Mode - the legs were more articulated in the beginning but could not hold the full weight in Dino Mode so they were redesigned!
Quoting lovemaomao zheng Great work! How about the joint works? Is it stable enough?

Great Chris, I think it's very good. If I take the electric stove as a comparison , is very large the thing.

Trypticon (so far) looks AWESOME! Which source do you use for your autobot/decepticon stickers? I've tried looking online for some - no such luck. :/ Anywho... can't wait to see part 2!

all answers are in the youtube video except for new transforming Kreo Sets- I've said it on a previous vid (I think my new mini Optimus), they are small and still not to par to what the fans can make. Still a fail for our friends at Hasbro IMO - even though they did steal some Lego designers! I guess they just aren't good "legoformer" designers!
Quoting Declan Muller FINALLY! It took long enough. Anyway, a few questions. Is it as big as Metroplex? Why is there Kre-o Megs there? And what's your opinion on the new fully transforming Kre-o sets that are coming out next year?
