That category was pretty awesome, but my idea was a bit too harsh for my LEGO collection and limited time. Still... I'm stubborn and I made a house on spider legs, just like I wanted to.
Enjoy the pictures!

A little more "detailed" shot of the house. I'll add more pictures of the house itself later. It turned out pretty nicely with all this black goo around it.

Top view. It looks better and bigger in real life.

That's the lucky person who lives in this house. His name is Arachnomago and as you might have guessed, he is obsessed with spiders.

Fun fact: An average internet user would call this MOC a NOPE-house.

I hope you like it! Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations on advancing, love the house. I think you got the category dead-on and it has a lovely mix of quaint cottage and horrific spider! The tires work really well to add bulk to the legs near the body. Great job, good luck next round!

Congratulations Magma! It was a great pleasure competing against you. I plan on finishing my build, but at a much slower and more relaxed pace. I wish you luck in the coming rounds. ~John

Creepy, wonderful, and truly FANTASTIC. You captured the idea of the category flawlessly. Love the spindly legs and the consistent theme of the spiders. You definitely get my vote.

Quoting Mr. Cab Wow. This is probably one of the most unique Mocs I have ever seen. I love it!
Yeah! It's also one of the most unique things I have ever built! Thank you.
Quoting David Roberts I love the different sizes and shapes of tyres that make up the thighs of this walking house. I think that the whole thing looks great.
Thanks! I had to remake those legs like ten times or something... I hope it was worth it.
Quoting Deus "Big W." Otiosus It does look better in person. The leg positioning may have something to do with it and it would look better if the legs raised the house above ground and have a picture from a horizontal angle.
Aye, that's true. I'd need some really strong ball-joints for that. Or a new technique...
Quoting Mohamed Marei This is insanely cool, but I feel it needed an accent color here and there. Plus, the legs could have used more arachnid-esque endings. Anyways, I give you a solid high NOPE for an awesome entry :P Best of luck!
Thanks for the criticism. But what kind of color accents do you have in mind? I wanted to add some dark brown just to fade brown & black, but I barely even have any dk. brown. Or do you mean that those legs themselves need some color? Like Some Tarantulas have red or yellow markings on their legs?
Quoting Ian Spacek Haha, fun entry!
Haha, thanks! If we both win this round, we'll be matched against each other in the next one... Oh gawd...
Quoting John Daniels Nice job Magma! I have been trying to build a walking house this whole time and have had absolutely zero luck, I'm really starting to sweat now. Chances are that I won't make it. But we will see. Good luck! ~John
Well, I'm glad you still managed to make it. It was fun competing against you. Good luck to you too!
