Romans Vs. Spartans
Hi guys! Taking about a month to build, this mega-creation depicts an imagined scene from ancient Rome as enemy Spartan forces attempt to take over a military storehouse on Capitoline Hill. This was quite a challenging build, and I am quite pleased with the way it turned out. Various new techniques, including the sloped hill effect, were used in this build. I hope you guys enjoy seeing this as much as I enjoyed building it!
About this creation

General Brickius Builderius (creative name I know) can be seen processing with his troops. :-)

Happy building, have a great day, and God bless! :-)

Quoting Cameron Wilson Amazing! I love the rock work! =) Where on Earth did you got all those figs!? =)
Thank you! Where'd I get the figs. Three of the regular Roman soldiers (and the centurions) I found at a local store(s). The rest of them I "ingeniously (NOT)" waited until they were discontinued and then decided to invest in them online. I ordered them from everywhere: Britain, other parts of the US, Germany. It was crazy but I managed to obtain an army. :-)

Thank you so much, Macsen; I was hoping you'd see this. I hope to build more in this series soon-ish. Thanks again for the comment! :-)

Quoting Isaiah Marc WHAT?!? I can't believe what I am seeing! This is by far one of your best creations! Is this even the same guy I first meet on mocpages? You have come so far that you have started to become a master builder (from the Lego Movie). Now everything is super cool! Did you order all of those mini-figures online? Anyway I think that if you were to continue on your path of Lego building you will be an amazing builder! Great rock work and incredible details. You never seize to amaze me! I know I am really saying some nice stuff, but it's actually true!
Thank you so much, Isaiah! This comment really means a lot to me. To know that someone has been keeping track of my progress since day 1 is a real compliment. I very much appreciate it. The minifigs were almost all ordered online (save about 8 or 9 of them, which I bought from my work, or from the minifigure packets at other stores). I was lucky enough to find one full lot of 20 Spartan soldiers for sale, so that helped in the building of my armies. ;-) Thanks again for the extraordinary comment! God bless! :-)

Quoting Promar Quadratus Still trying to wrap my mind around this... At least it's settled into a dull ache ;) Just noticed the angled rock work in addition to the vertical built section, very nice. You could even try adding some additional angles to different sections of it to make it even more realistic. Just a suggestion (knowing that I could never do anything like this ever, ever, ever ;) ). God bless, ~Promar~
Thanks buddy! Interesting idea; more different angles; that would make it look more realistic... And I wouldn't underestimate your building capabilities; you are quite the phenomenal builder yourself. In fact, you're one of the main builders that I keep an eye out for with unique parts usage. :-) Thanks again for the comment; hope college is going well. God bless!
