Commanders Colds people had soon realized that building a city is an impossible task without having all life-essential things under one roof. They started to build a sleeping dome, conferrence center and others, but stasis nichces in existing tiles were too few to accomodate all the workers. Luckily , they had much drilling devices and there were huge compact rock of very resistent ore, so they started to drill acvities there to accomodate their supplies there. Atop hill , they have built a castle where they can survive for very long time. Krystos climate is getting very harsh, so Ice Planet astronauts are very happy to be able to finally rest in their own beds, with view on citys foundation, where much work awaits them.
In real life, it is a second try to make and Ice citadel. In few last pictures you can see original model with comparison with this one. It is far more wide and high and it will be a center for an Atritian base which I plan to do next.
This lesser citadel contains Bio-mass generators, which are facilies rapidly growing small plants to privede quite distastefull, but very nutrive food. On the next level are atritian implode cores to store huge amounts energy from praying towers and also from hot springs, which flow in the mountains core. On the same etage, there are terminals and electricity generators. Also a storage places are present there. Castle itself contains a 4 medical facilities, 16 beds, a command center with archive, small meeting room and a hygienical facitlities. Armory towers serves as tool and gun deposit. Whole citadel is very well defensble with gun turrets and forcefileds dividing every room from each other, so while there is any crew left, it can defend itself in every corner of this citadel.
Hey Michal, the design is absolutely fantastic. I am very impressed how many loving details you have built here. For this huge building you had previously no plan, so I suppose it was a lot of work. Hats off. That is very impressive my friend. I wish I could do something like this in LDD, which would help me a lot.
These always amaze me! They also make me think about the sounds of music that are produced on an antique Ben Franklin Water Harmonica. I seem to hear that music in my mind when I view your builds. :)
