ACX-15 USS Endurance
The last time PHI posted a MOC was more than a week ago ayyyyyy.....
About this creation
So, Prasad Heavy Industries was contracted by the USAF to design a completely new system that would render forward air bases useless. The specifications required it to be able to launch and recover aircraft, while also have the capabilities of an aerial gunship. In addition, this "plane" would also need limited space capabilities (be able to reach the moon and back without refueling on any supplies). And I guess our engineers just finished an Avengers-Captain America marathon, as we have come up with this, the ACX-15, USS Endurance.
A-Aerial
C-carrier
X-experimental
15- an awesome number

ACX-15 Specs:
Length: 1,900ft
Beam: (at max) 320ft
Height (from docking linkage to bridge): 200ft
Power: 4x A2C nuclear reactors
Propulsion: 4x Mk 3 Anti-Grav Units
4x SBP-21 nuclear rocket motors
Crew: 3,000, including 300 airmen
Aircraft capacity: 110 aircraft
Weight: 250,000+ tons
Weapons: 2x twin 20 inch bombardment cannons
2x twin 25 inch anti-air cannons
1x quadruple 12 inch cannon
10x missile tubes

Also, a launch facility for this carrier is currently under construction at a classified location. Details on that will arrive at a classified time.

Anyways, let the fun begin....
ACX-15 USS Endurance
The most notable thing about this image is that the flash went off. So. Yeah.

ACX-15 USS Endurance
Alright, so lemme over these here numbers...
1) One of the two twin 20-inch twin turrets, used to target enemy installations and dart boards. Forizzles.
2) One of the four anti-gravity units. I could explain how they work, but that's classified. So don't ask. Remember, don't ask.
3) Dat is an aeroplane.
4) It is the island. THE island.
5) Radar Array- kinda self explanatory?
6) Super boosted nuclear rocket motors. POOOWEEERRRR

ACX-15 USS Endurance
Anyone got a star for me to put on top of this thing?

ACX-15 USS Endurance
The crew of the Endurance have never missed a target......by more than a mile anyways. Reason for this is because of this shielded array system, that includes sophisticated targeting reticules, and even a good ole fashioned window (that doesn't open).

ACX-15 USS Endurance
Let's pop da proverbial hood. Primary propulsion in space is via fire extinguishers four nuclear powered rocket motors. The nuclear energy is used to light the rocket fuel, derived from anything (hydrogen, oxygen, food scraps, etc). Also visible are those impossible to explain anti-gravity units. I TOLD YOU NOT TO ASK DANG BRUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

ACX-15 USS Endurance
The Quadruple turret, nicknamed the pea-shooter. I don't know why either...

ACX-15 USS Endurance
A potato did NOT fly around my room (or hanger). But the ACX-15 did....

ACX-15 USS Endurance
Side-angle swag. I apologize for this entire caption.

ACX-15 USS Endurance
I may have used this image already. You know what, whatever. Notice the long communication antennae (or is antenna) designed to establish long deep space communication. So that's important.

ACX-15 USS Endurance
Jet-setting with only 3 (trois, tres, drei, tre) pieces. This aircraft, codenamed the Widow-creator, can operate in both air and space environments. So yay for that.

ACX-15 USS Endurance
The bridge on it's own is more advanced than anything, include Apple HQ. Yeah, we went there...

ACX-15 USS Endurance
One of the twin cannons taking aim on something. I don't know what, but it looks like it's about to take something out, so, I guess it's a safe assumption....

ACX-15 USS Endurance
And a nice overall shot (not an actual shot) to end on (just this post). Hopefully I've caught you're attention for longer than 10 seconds. Look forward to the military installation this thing will eventually be based at (unless you don't want to, then don't).

And remember to view my higher quality mixtape images on Flickr....

I won't lie and pretend that I read everything you wrote - but the build itself is superb! The design is great. Nice work bro

Quoting Daniel Salai Amazing as usual! Would you mind if I used those fighters in one of my MOCs? I will credit you, of course.

After a year's wait, the pictures from that one party you went to, finally arrived! Apparently the whole deal was held like a light-year or so away from Earth, so it could not have been done before... But it was fun at the celebration, right? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/407296

Quoting Ska 2D2 This is just great. I don't know if you take part in 'Shiptember' but this would be epic as a 100+ stud model! Fantastic!
Thanks! Yeah, I did have plans for doing SHIPtember, but I just got caught up with other things. I forget the exact length of the ship, but I remember it falls short of the 100 stud mark...

Quoting Luke V I just realized something... You call them anti-gravity units, that would imply the opposite of a normal gravity unit. In space you would need gravity... Hmmmmm...
.....hence the nuclear rocket motors used in space ;-)

Quoting Mark Kelso Nice design work with some solid parts usage. This scale can actually be a bit of a challenge in getting the surface texture and detailing to work, but you've got it. Well done!
Thanks Mark, and what an honor! Yeah, the scaling is really tricky, and coming up with convincing details on this scale is never easy.

Quoting Marc "Edge" R.unde The ventral side is definitely the sweet spot of this baby, anyways, a pretty cool carrier!
Thanks Marc! Definitely, yeah, carriers are actually kinda boring to build, so I figured that if this one was going to be flying, might as well make the bottom hull look interesting...

Yeah, in case you're wondering what happened after that, our friend matt was sent to a detention facility....in Tahiti. So. There is that.
