In which I make free with other people's ideas. There are some of my own. Honest.
About this creation

This is a 1:40 scale (7 wide) older-style car transporter, with a few older style cars to go with it.

The cab design has been seen before; it seats two figs and steers via the red wotsit on the roof.

The trailer's new and has a few tricks. Here it sits on it's flip down jockey wheels...

It'll help you load up as well...

Built to be the right size for my 1:43 diecast models... I've had the pleasure of driving most of these IRL (no, not the Lambo!)

The Lego 4 and 5 wides suit it better though. Plus I only built cars I've actually owned. No Lamborghinis here. Or Jag D-Types...

This completely brilliant 2CV Charleston can't possibly be mine... It isn't. It's almost identical to Henrik Hoexbroe's.

The MGB roadster is mine, and any similarity to the work of Starscream Soundwave is purely coincidental. Probably.

While this could be pretty much any BMW saloon from the last 50 years, it's actually a 1995 E34 shape 520i. Of course it is... with a grille design courtesy of Nils O. and Yann(XY EZ). Some ideas are just too good not to pinch...

The Citroen DS; the finest thing that ever rolled on four wheels. The real car, that is, not necessarily the model; which might be a tad short. Lengthen it by a stud and it's a tad long. Sometimes you just can't win.

The Mini, with thanks to the Lego company for their polybag giveaway set, which this somewhat resembles; only with it's wheels pushed to the corners a bit and an extra stud of length.

If the Citroen DS is the finest car ever made, then the Renault 4 is the most practical. I will brook no arguments. These are facts.

Big brothers come out to play...

Thank you for visiting !

Nice, I really like how the ramp can go down on the transporter. Can't really comment on how accurate any of them are compared to their real life counterparts (most of these cars were never sold here) but they look great in LEGO none the less. Awesome job!

Quoting Ian Spacek Wow, that's really excellent Nick. The ramp is especially impressive. I use to love trucks when I was younger and this reminds me of a whole set of 'em I had from a southern U.S. gas company called Hess. Hess Trucks were the bomb. I got a new one each Christmas. And speaking of Christmas, happy Holidays sir!
Thanks Ian, and the same to you! Merry Christmas to all :-)

Fantastic work as usual - an excellent job capturing the essence of each of those fine vehicles.

So much time you did not build vehicles!! A Lego truck-lack?! ^^ If you knew how many times my brothers and I went green-sick inside GS, Cx, Cx-break... Plus one or two times for me in the DS of my grand-daddy. That was for the funny souvenirs. Anyway, I agree with you, DS has really this special silhouette not so easy to catch with bricks. And you did. The trail fits so well with your collection!

Quoting Yann (XY EZ) I'm absolutelly amazed by this (or better said by these) creation(s) ! All these cars are fantastic, in real and more especially your models! The mgb is superb, and the DS mindblowingly good! I also like the BMW (thanks for the quotation, even if I've got inspired by other creations for the grill (I think I was the first to use the 2*1 plate)). One question: have you driven the D-type? Anyway, 5/5
Thanks Yann. I've never driven a D-Type, more's the pity... still, there's always the Lego ones to keep me amused :-)
