Container Shuttle CSC Interior
The interior of the Shuttle to handle those big space containers
About this creation
Designing the interior was great fun. It was like putting a dollhouse into a spacecraft :-).

Layout of the interior. Two parts of the floor have been removed to reveal technical installations.

Inside the cockpit. It's packed full with computers and control screens.

The main controls inside the cockpit.

Inside view of the container. The tool locker is open. The machinist and cargo expert stands on the balcony you step onto when you enter the container through the airlock.

Inside view of the container. The cargo bot slides to the ramp to receive cargo to be loaded.
The ramp folds down, then slides out like a drawer and after that lowers to the ground.

The lounge inside the main body of the ship. The technical installations normally are covered with a lattice. You can see the big communication screen.
In the foreground, underneath the neon light, a table is seen.

Here the lattice covers the technical installations. The kitchen, the bedroom and the small bathroom are visible.

The docking station of the escape module. The module has been removed for routine maintenance. We use the chance to rip the roof of the airlock. In there you can see to space suits hanging off the wall.
The tubes run down to the front landing gear and connect to the pneumatic cylinders down there.
The long cable here was put in to electrify a not yet implemented function. Perhaps I will add some headlights or cabin lighting sometime.

The machine room underneath the thrusters. Here you can see the main control panel. Inside here, unfortunately not visible, there is the gravity generator. The small ladder folds down so that another spacecraft can dock here.

The interior of the escape module. This little module seats four and features control panels as well as a little kitchen. This module is really necessary due to frequent attacts through Activistians from Greengalaxy.

The cargo container and the way it interacts with the ship, that's all fabulous! The neon lights are a creative idea. No tiled floors? Thankyou, now I don't feel quite so pressured to put tiled floors in all of mine.
