Merry Christmas everyone! I haven't made a Christmas MOC in a few years so I decided to make one this year. I used some of my Star Wars Minifigures in it because I recently got the Millennium Falcon and the Mos Eisley Cantina and I wanted to use Minifigures from those two sets in a MOC. This is actually a new version of a MOC that I built back in 2011 that is also here on MOCpages. In my opinion, this one is a significant improvement over the old one.
Roof with snow
Santa Claus (This is the Santa from this year's City Advent Calendar. I was really excited to get the City Advent Calendar this year because I haven't had one since 2006)
The roof was attached to the house with hinge pieces
The inside of the house
Christmas tree with presents
Fireplace with stockings
An awkward family dinner
Darth Vader and a turkey
Luke, Leia, and Han

I know I've been really inactive over the last year and a half since I went to college but I'll try to change that. I'm still an AFOL. This has actually been a really good year for me when it comes to LEGO because I got my first job so I actually have money for LEGO now and have gotten quite a few sets so that my collection has grown from about 18000 pieces at the start of the year to about 25000 pieces now. They're not all in one place though because I'm keeping some of the sets in my dorm at college but they will be eventually. I've also started trying to get my 2 year old cousin into LEGO. I got her her first DUPLO set for her birthday last August. She already had a MEGA BLOKS set and her mother tried to mix her DUPLOs into that set but then she sorted them out from the MEGA BLOKS. It might have been because the MEGA BLOKS are all in shades of pink and the DUPLOs aren't but I was very happy that she seemed to realize that they should never mix. Maybe I'll be able to turn her into an AFOL someday........ :) I've got plans to give her her first Star Wars set in a few years.....
I also have to mention that yesterday, Christmas Eve, was the 13th anniversary of when I got my first LEGO set.
I hope you all have a good Christmas and a happy new year!
