I built this in early November but I didn't get around to posting it until now. Since I got my first job in September, I've bought a few LEGO sets and had them sent to my dorm so that I have some LEGO to build with there. With my busy schedule, I usually don't have time to but I did during the first weekend of November. This MOC was built mostly using pieces from the Seaside House but it uses a few pieces from other sets too.
My LEGO collection in my dorm. It's not that big (it's between 3000 and 4000 pieces) but its good enough for a collection in my dorm because I don't have a lot of space to store things. I bought a small plastic box to keep it in a few months ago.
I'm glad that I now have some LEGO in my dorm room because now I don't have to go so long without building anything like I did last year during my first year of college. This won't be the only MOC from that collection that I will make and post to MOCpages. When I move out of my dorm, this collection will be combined with my main LEGO collection.
I apologize for the quality of some of the pictures, the lighting in my dorm room isn't that great.
You're very good at capturing the essence of places like parks and vacation spots. This MOC strongly evokes a "beach feel" that reminds me of the beachside house we rent in Holden Beach, NC every few years. The houses there have names rather than numbers. The best name of all: "Bought it anyway."
