Dorru V2
I know I promised that I would post this yesterday, but unfortunately I was unable to do so, because I am a dissapointment... *Curls up into ball and cries* Anyway, enough about me, here is Toa Dorru!
About this creation
“We shouldn’t be about killing the enemy. We’re not soldiers or assassins. We shouldn’t be defined by our enemies. We need to be inspirational, heroes that the Matoran can look up to.”
-Dorru, Contenders #15

Dorru:
Dorru is a Toa of Air and a member of The Contenders. His elemental abilities allow him control over air, whilst his Kanohi Kualsi allows him to teleport to places within his line of sight. He carries an Anchor, which he uses to hook himself to branches and ledges. He was only recently transformed, and so is quite reckless and dependant, something he does recognise. Dorru is very optimistic and slightly hyperactive, meaning that he sometimes unintentionally irritates his friends.

The Matoran Dorru lived in Racta Major and worked as an assistant to the Le-Matoran Korduu. He lived a simple life, being good friends with a Bo-Matoran named Dukrina, before she was taken away by Reshak.

Dorru's life changed when he volunteered to help Turaga Trokan, Benu (who had been transformed into a Matoran) and Koi stop a mad plot to free the demon Thanatos. Dorru tried to stop a Toa Stone giving Thanatos physical form by blasting it with a flame staff. The ploy worked, but also turning Benu back into his original form, and Dorru into a Toa. He spent the time after that being trained by Benu, mostly not facing any action of any kind until the Sombrak invasion of Racta Major; he helped Toa Leka retrieve the Elemental Staff of Air, and later helped him battle Makuta Soldok outside the gates of Racta Major. After the battle, Dorru returned to Racta Major, still acting as an apprentice to Benu, who at this point had been transformed into a Turaga.

Three years later, Dorru became a member of The Contenders, and helped to recruit Toa Raxonax and Toa Galia. The team set out to find the only surviving member of the Sombrak; Makuta Reshak, but soon encountered Dukrina, Apothrahk and Thisrahk, with whom they engaged in battle. Surprised to see her again, Dorru tried to remind Dukrina of their past friendship, only to be attacked from behind by Thisrahk. On the way back, they made friends with a being called the Jankori and battled two Dark Hunters, Sohbec and Helda. They returned to the city of Racta Major, where they battled Kunar and the IRM, who had snuck in to the city with them earlier. Immediately afterwards, Reshak entered the city and defeated them.

Dorru felt demoralised after the battle, but was encouraged by Takathorax to take up arms again and set out with the Contenders to help stop the children of Reshak from taking the Gate, a mystical object which transported those from the world of the living to the world of the dead. He also went with Galia to help recruit the Jankori to their cause before returning home to prepare for a second assault from Reshak. During this battle, he fought Dukrina again, before moving on to fight Sohbec, who was attempting to free Kunar. Dorru was defeated, but fortunately Takathorax stopped Reshak from resurrecting the Sombrak leader Aroxion. Dorru was the only one to see Takathorax before he died; the Toa of light gave him his Kanohi before stepping through the Gate into the afterlife. This experience created a lot of guilt for Dorru, who felt he should have stopped him from leaving. Later, Dorru aided Raxonax in his battle with Shadonax by duelling with Kunar, who had allied himself with the shadow creature.

Dorru is currently in Racta Major.

DORRU!

The Back.

His Anchor Spear.

The weapon on his back.

Air vs Air; Dorru vs Kunar!

Dorru vs Reshak

Dorru vs Dukrina

Team Green!

Raxonax, Cilla and Dorru. I'm sure this is all a coincidence, and these Toa have no connection at all. Nope, no plans here...

...and if there was a plan, I'm sure that my next MOC has nothing to do with it... I swear.

That's all, folks!

Coolness! Toa Hiroshi: "I'm sorry to hear about what happen to your leader, but I am sure that he'll be proud to know that you will carry the toa code with honor and selflessness. Do not take it for grant young toa."

Quoting Andrew31kbrick193 /// Although the scythe looks a little more like a hammer/anchor. I like the custom design of the chest and all. Although the legs don't look custom, I know you can fix that in future MOC's to come. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! Yeah, I'll probably update the legs, and I might actually change the name of the weapon, as you and Puff said, it does look more like an anchor.

Quoting Puff the Magic Thunderbird The lower legs aren't very impressive, but otherwise, great MOC. I think the scythe should be a smidge larger, also, it looks more like an anchor on a staff than a double- headed scythe. I do like the chest, though. Bravo!
Thank you! Yeah, the legs don't seem to be very popular :P Also, the weapon is supposed to work like an anchor, I just couldn't really think what to call it. I might actually change the name, as Anchor Spear or something does actually sound quite cool.

Quoting Commander Spencer Eh, not really a fan of the legs. They look far too simple and thin. Other than that, though, he looks pretty cool.
Thanks for the comment. I was trying to make this guy thin, unfortunately, I was unable to make the torso and arms as thin as I would have liked. But yeah, I probably should bulk them up a little, and maybe customise them a little, too.
