Here is my second large-scale car and this time I decided to go for a local gem, the Trident Clipper V8.
About this creation
History: Trident cars was formed in 1966 as a spin-off company to TVR, they specialized in making GT cars to rival other brands such as the Jensen Inteceptor. Their first car they made as a stand alone company was the Clipper, made using a modified Austin Healey chassis and a Ford V8. Later on came the V6 Venturer and the I6 Tycoon. After only a short time the company closed in 1974, with an attempted restart in 76'.
Only around 130 units throughout their 3-car-range were produced, 39 of which were clippers. The clipper in my opinion is one of the greatest cars to never catch on.
