Thanks for checking out this project! It will soon hopefully be available for support on LEGO Ideas (I will put a link on here when it is). Please tell me what you think in the comments section below!
About this creation
This LEGO sword is based off of “The fantasy Lion sword” Weathered Steel Internet Radio Sword Design (also known as "The Lion’s Lord Sword", "The Lion’s Den Sword", "The Lord of Kings Sword", among other names). Being a huge fan of hard rock and heavy metal music, one of my favorite radio stations (Weathered Steel Internet Radio) has this really cool sword in its logo. It is so epic I decided to build it on LEGO Digital Designer! Although it isn't 100% accurate do to the limited piece selection on LEGO Digital Designer, it still turned out completely awesome! Here is a picture of the actual sword:

I think this project would benefit the LEGO Group in that it would reach a genre of people not often reached by the LEGO Group (hard rock, heavy metal fans). Also, it would appeal to fans of such things as the Middle Earth, Narnia, and the Middle Ages. However, I do admit that this creation has some problems that the LEGO Group could probably fix if this were to become an actual set, mainly the number of pieces, the size of the model, and the fact that it would probably be used more for display than for play (although there are other sword models on LEGO Ideas with the same problem).
Please support this project! Also, don't hesitate to give me feedback in the comments section. In addition, keep a look out for some of my other creations that will also be coming soon to LEGO Ideas! Here’s the list of them:
1: Parth Galen from Amon Hen from The Lord of the Rings “The Fellowship of the Ring” (Improved) (under construction)
2: Dragon Legends 1: St. George and the dragon (under construction)
Quoting Bacon Tomato
That is awesome! The hilt and etchings both look great! This is the best Lego sword I can recall. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean much because I haven't seen many but still, it's great!
Quoting Tureaglin Naugellon
Awesome etchings on the blade! That must've been a lot of work! I wonder how swooshable it would be made of flesh-and-blood lego bricks though.. About how long is the sword?
Thank you, man! It's about 3 feet long. It took me about a month to design! ;)
