MELO R2: Professor B. vs. Jacob Pennington
Orthanc Bracket
About this creation
My talented opponent, Jacob Pennington

The required link to the MELO 2014-15

Our category: Glóin

One word: rushed. :P I started yesterday morning and continued on through the evening. Then I finished the entrance this afternoon. It's definitely not my best. But, in my mind, it's actually not that bad.

In the book, Glóin is described as the one who builds the fire for the company. I couldn't think of anything better, so I built the scene from the movie where Glóin prepares to light a fire (but Thorin forbids it). Enjoy! And best of luck to my opponent!

Quoting Cameron Wilson Nice. I like how you used Normal legs for the dwarves. I have thought about this before but it's hard to find legs that match the torso's. (Unless you use plain legs but then it looks rubbish!) Anyway great job! =) On the floor why did you bother putting to triangular pieces together, Why not just use a rectangle?
Thanks! I was running out of dk tan tiles, and wedge plates are partly tile, so I figured they would work. :)

Quoting Michael Kringe I can't find your opponent's build anywhere, so I guess that means he missed the deadline and you're in R3! Great rockwork!
You appear to be right. Thanks Michael!

Very nice build. I don't know if you did this on purpose but I really like the sandy floor. It lookss so real.
