Random pics of Rivendell

Originally, my plan was to keep around 5,000 pieces and to add more landscape like a mountain base or background with a waterfall or two, similar to my original Rivendell moc but much smaller. That would be too big for LEGO to consider most likely.

So, my alternative was this 2800 piece version. Another option would be to take away more buildings and add some more landscaping. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks for your support!

Quoting Lo var Lachland Okay, I love that you've posted it on lego IDEAS, but how much would this cost if it were a set? 3,000 dollars? I mean, really?
The display is not part of the ideas set...check out the description and updates with pics of the proposed set. Thanks,

Quoting Nigel Clements Stunning! Where on earth do you get so many bricks and all of the correct colour, I am simply amazed by the attention to detail, this must have taken years to construct!
Thanks, It took 11 months but I had many breaks in between that sometimes lasted a week plus. I bought lots of grey slopes in bulk orders over the last couple years mostly on bricklink...When the lego store sold boxes of pieces for $70 I stocked up back then too.

Amazing! That's all I can really say about this.. I can't believe that you're this talented! I mean, I could probably build something half as good, and you could make it 50 times better than the best! What I'm trying to say, is you've done a really great job!

Quoting Jimmie Martinez I love this MOC. It would be pricy for the parts count, but the amount of minifigs included is great. I truly believe that it would sell well as is since LEGO does not include very much background elements in any of their sets. Background is left to the imagination and they provide the key elements of a scene. I think its perfect. 10/10 Bravo and well done.
If only I had 10,000 supporters like Jimmie Martinez. Thankyou very much!

Quoting BrickBuilder7622 . I loved it when you made it with 120k bricks, and I still love it. Builds like this aren't posted everyday, and so it's a real treat to see something of such magnitude and scale, and not to forget detail here. Wow, wow, wow. Alright, you've convinced me; I'll go support it now. 5/5! :-)
HA HA, I like how you convinced yourself while writing this. Thanks much for your support! Ben
