Porsche 914 SBT-6
If you asked me to build my perfect dreamcar, here's what I would have done first.
About this creation

Summary

Idea

My idea to do this came when I saw all the car companies my friends invented, like Prowler, Optinum, Razor, Vortex Motors, Tonagari, D.B. Motors and Gravity respectively invented by Mr Dr.Prof.Ing. Sam the First, Mr Dr.Prof.Ing. Jet Best, Mr Dr.Prof.Ing. Loek M.,Mr Dr.Prof.Ing. Alex B. , Mr Dr.Prof.Ing. Alexander Paschoaletto, Mr Dr.Prof.Ing. Dennis B. and Mr Dr.Prof.Ing. Harry Gravett .

Instead of doing like them, I more had in mind what Zagato, Bertone and Frua did with cars: redesign them.

And that's what I did.

Design

The chassis, interior and engine/gearbox is exactly the one you can find in my other Porsche 914. I only did some minor modifications.
The car itself is inspired by different cars, especially different versions of the 914.
The pop-up lights are the ones you can find on a Porsche 914-8 (Picture here). The idea of a shooting braked 914 is inspired by a real concept called the 914 Eurostyle (Picture here).

There are also some nice (I think?!) details:

  • Pop-Up Lights!

  • A detailed Exhaust

  • Original Seats

  • Working Door-locking

Engineering

It is a major point of this car. I wanted it as real as possible. So it has:

  • A working engine

  • A working Gearbox (5+R)

  • Front and rear independent suspensions

  • A working steering (with steering wheel)

Functions

In parallel to the technical functions seen above, this car also has other functions:

  • Opening Doors

  • Opening Bonnet, Engine Bonnet and Hood

  • A Glovebox!

  • Adjustable Seats

  • Adjustable Mirrors

  • Working Sun Visors

Thanks for watching everyone! I hope you liked it (a much as I like it). Thanks for rating, commenting and sharing as well!

Quoting Sam the first Sorry I missed this! Great idea - I look forward to some in the future! I like this, it's quite nice, although I'd like it more if it had a roof.
Thanks Sam & no problem! It has a targa roof, and I'll upload pictures of the car with it on it soon.
Quoting Sam the first I may give you some of my Prowler files in the future, so you can do your thing.
What do you mean with this? Shooting-braking your Prowlers? ;-)

Quoting Alexander Paschoaletto Very clever idea to follow some studios ideas like Bertone. You made a stunning version here, very detailed and very neat. The strange hood certainly steals the scene.
Thanks Alexander! You're absolutelly right with bertone. I think we should build more shooting brakes in the future ;-)

Quoting Dennis B Awesome Porsche! The design is brilliant, altough this huge hood does not seem practical. But the details are great and I wished to see a bit more of this car, especially the interior or engine. Also green fits very good with it,...and thanks for mentioning me! Just a well done car!
Hi dennis! Thanks for liking & commenting! I totally agree about the fact that the hood is impractical. In fact, the whole car is it. And I'm sorry about the lack of pictures. The rendering of each pictures needed more than 2 hours, a time during which my laptop wasn't usable. The creation itself was already finished last wednesday ... I'll try to render some more pictures if you want ;-) Und kein Problem für das Erwähnen ;-)
