There was alot on my mind as I traveled north. I was still unsure of Rugen, and what he had to do with the dead Boar clansmen. The Yellow Feather, too, required my attention. But as I crossed a bridge, an Elf named Cindarin had meet me, and told me he guarded it.
"What is the importance of this bridge," I asked.
"Oh," the elf started. "To Understand, we would have to go back to the time of Unbinding."
"King Mythros' forces had been chasing Duke Bartok, hoping to crush his insurrection. Bartok needed time to set up an ambush. One day. That was all he needed.
So Remus Luther, a peasant-turned soldier, volunteered to hold the bridge with a force of 9. Because this was the only bridge, Remus and his 9 troops could hold off the whole Mythronian army.
His forces were small, but never have I seen men fight so bravely, or effectively. They were some of the greatest Heroes of Rainos, and they made the Battle of Unbinding possible. They deserve to always be remembered."
some early WIPs.....
