About this creation
Going for a Hunt
Hey y'all!
I know I haven't posted as regularly but I'm still building and active. I wanted to try out a few new techniques in this build and I think overall it turned out nicely.
Sorry about the cruddy main picture, my Java settings are messed up so I had to use the simple uploader!

Quoting Everyone
Thanks everyone! :D
Quoting Chris . Fabulous style of a house Justin, is the base the most work?
Thanks buddy. Honestly, making the roof took the longest. Having to put those cheese-slopes on one at a time was a pain!

Nice build, love the olive cheese. Also, I was wondering if you wanted to team up for the MOCathalon, provided you don't already have a group? Not sure who else it would be with though.

The olive cheese roof strikes again. And I really like your treatment of the walls here!

I'm not a fan of olive rooves, but this one works for me. I think that due to the color palette you have, the use of the olive works and is not an ugly color. The build is also great.

I like how you angled the house relative to the base. Nice stonework as well :)

Colour combinations work great, the only complaint I have is the transition between white and stony. Looks like it needs wooden beams there or something to contrast better. At first glance, the two colours are hard to distinguish.

I LOVE that stonework. I think this is the first time I've actually liked 2x2 rounds in walls. Super job here, man!

Whoa, nice work! The waviness of the foundation and the olive cheese roof really are the highlights of this build, in my opinion. That far right tree looks really great. 5/5! :-)

Nice to see you posting again Justin! :D The stonework is very good, though the way you've blended it into the whitewash is odd. :P I like the roof and trees, but the ground could use some more colors and layers. Great work.

Excellent Creation! I would never have thought to do the stones that way :)

Nice! I think the dark tan path would look better if it was maybe inset in the ground, a stud or so below the grass. Also maybe a few stones on the path would add a lot. Over all though, it's a good build! :-]
