6wide '91 GMC Syclone
built using SR3D Builder
About this creation
MAIN: GMC Syclone sport-pickup truck
I dunno why I built this thing.. there's other stuff to build, but I thought it would be a study in squarish, right-angled edges. it was. it's LEGO.

still, compromises were made, noticeably those using that minifig neck-bracket item on each corner. I think the only reason I get away with them here is because they disappear in the "black LEGO abyss". *increase brightness*

the paint job's cool though: in SR3D, there's extra color choices like "electric contact alloy", "chrome blue/green/pink" and "pearl light grey". here I changed the body to "rubber black" (the color of tires) and the tires to "black" (the color of black LEGOs). the rubber black gives a nice matte finish!

Quoting Mister Hashtag Stunning model! I've always been attracted to older high-performance gas-guzzling fume-belching tire-ripping American trucks for whatever reason :P
ROFL! this has still got to be one of the standout American trucks produced yet, performance wise. besides maybe the Dodge RAM with the Viper V10 under the hood! and I have to say, this was a hilarious read (forget the 2nd page): http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/gmc-syclone-vs-ferrari-348ts-archived-comparison-test
