Journey's End
About this creation
Built for GOH over on Eurobricks.

The cold, barren, frozen wastelands of the high mountain valleys of the Rakath Range are some of the most foreboding environments in Historica. But not to Gal-Turok and his Goblin hordes. These mountain peaks are his fortress. Countless miles of tunnels and caverns, each guarded by small watch towers and outposts, serve as high ways to a vast underground Empire. Lonely, desolate and chilling to the soul, this land is the perfect strong hold. Gal Turok has just arrived from overseeing clan meetings of the various tribes in Nocturnus, and has returned to start making preparations for war. He has pledged his support for the Desert King, not out of any sort of loyalty or brotherhood, but to show the might of the Goblin Empire, and why he is The Great Goblin Uniter.

My attempt at a frozen waterfall.

Very nice! While some of the basic rockwork looks ever so slightly boring I do love the angles you put into them and the frozen water-fall is superb! The watch-tower is also nice!

Quoting eric s hey, Tirrell! sweet job on this build! sorry to say i somehow missed it :/ my favorite is that nighttime shot with the vast expanse of the universe beyond. also i like your various SNOT/angle techniques to create the bends in the ravine and your photography complements them very well!
Thank you sir!

Quoting Asad . A+ on the landscape. B on the tower.
Considering where the tower is where I got lazy with this, I can accept that.

What fascinates me most with this build is the frozen water surface. The light hits those clear bricks allowing the bracings to show thru giving the whole surface a tessellated look! :)

Quoting Kermunklin the Giant Evil House Head "The cold, barren, frozen wastelands of the high mountain valleys of the Rakath Range are some of the most [AWESOMELY BUILT] environments in Historica." Great stuff, to be sure. For the frozen waterfall it might have looked better with randomly alternated white and trans-clear 1x1 square plates, rather that all trans-clear 1x1 round plates. That would have to be my only criticism. This is an awesome build!
Hahaha! Thank you sir! I tried many different types of frozen falls ( alternate stud colors and types, all white, all clear etc.) and settled on this one. Your criticism is appreciated regardless. Again thank you.

Quoting Kory Thomas you have a great talent. Rock work is very nice the detail that you put in to your work.I have seen your other projects you get five stars from me outstanding work sir. I hope to one day build as good as you do. The projects that you do with trees and forest i think are the best hands down the grass and trees just look so real! GREAT JOB!
I am flattered you enjoyed my builds. I wanted to try my hand at other things besides forests so I'm going down the list. There are several more landscapes coming soon.

Quoting Joehead14 _ Very cool design. Anything inside the tower to share pictures of? Great rocks and snow build.
There was a cave below it but it didn't turn out well in pics. Maybe next time, thanks for comment!

Quoting Micah the Fire-breathing Hobbit Superb job, Tirrell, the landscaping is extraordinary. admittedly the waterfall could use some work, but this is brilliant.
Thank you for the insight. The waterfall isn't a running waterfall, but a frozen one. Hence the disconnected look. I wanted to show a mixture of ice spears and rocks, with the white slopes representing white ice and the stubs representing clear ice. Thanks for the comment sir!
