Back from her Fascinations Stargate Escapade, Darkla poses with everyone for a photo op in front of their new space cargo mother-barge!
About this creation
The barge is just 1 D.U.D. short of 5, secured, and almost ready for her maiden flight!

OMG… is that the fabulous Topsy on the freight deck, mircrophone in hand?!
Is she having her own stargate escapade from her piloting duties with the BSG?!
Perhaps, as she appears to be Mistress of Ceremonies! But, let’s not speculate!

Because, what certainly IS the truth, is that while Darkla was AWAY…
Her M3D Marauders and Aurelian Business Partners did not PLAY!
Instead, they were building, yes building, yes building EVERY DAY…
Building Satisfaction… a space cargo mother-barge,
Designed to carry 5 D.U.D.’s with Fascinations, filled.
Allowing everyone… everywhere, small and/or large,
To indulge in their Fascinations, daring to be thrilled!

Ah, ha… a 3MHALCRW* clone pilot is in the cockpit!

*M3D Marauder MCVA & Havana Aurelia Liaison Contingency R,esponse Wing

Cockpit canopy closed!

Of course, the Satisfaction is fueled by Darkla’s very own hybrid gelled semi-solid space fuel (think of canned Sterno!) produced from refined organic waste, i.e., rotting pawpaw plant debris gathered from the Furyorai PawPaw Plantations and produced at the Furyorai, Refinery!

Fueled to deliver Fascinations Fun, Satisfaction blasts off on her Maiden Voyage…

Unbeknownst to the partners…
their celebrations are about to be marred by… eminent Alien Threats!
But not before you look below for the piece de résistance...
a picture of the Satisfaction as it appears in Mining Frenzy,
a collaborative project envisioned by Stephan Niehoff,
edited by Pico van Grootveld,
narrated by Tim C, and
filled with builds by the talented project builders!
We did ourselves proud! :)

FYI:
#1 Business members, as well as the several clones, posing in the celebration photo, except for four, all appeared in various episodes of The Insurgency and/or the MVCA Chronicles!
#2 Sadly, Darkla’s CATS were unavailable for the photo shoot. Shhh, they have yet to return from their Etrion Recon Mission!
#3 Anyhoo, read about everyone in Topsy’s folders by clicking the links below:
A) Wanda's Sis, Darkla of The Insurgency
and/or
B) Wacky Wanda & Companies.
#4 And last, but not least, I encourage you to learn about and/or join The Insurgency!

Great build! It reminds me of a Viking ship. I'd like a six-pack of D.U.D. Please. Thx

Quoting Marc "Edge" R.unde Wow, I thought it was a micro scale build and now I see that it is minifig scale. Impressive ship. The appearance in the mining frenzy does it definitely too little justice! What an honour to be in one picture with lots of talented builders like you! ~Cheers
Marc, thanks for the kind words. They mean alot coming from such the talented builder that you are! Your comment about its appearance brings up some interesting things to think about when photographing builds. I actually prefer Pico's portrayal, he makes it look very space worthy and sophisticated. My photos bring out the silliness of its design. But you may have picked up on an important point... the volume of space and distances is so large that one tends to loose track of the scale on the different builds. That is why I love your photo of yourself near your build, let's one have a real feel for the size of your ship. All things to think about ! :)

Quoting David Alexander Smith Its made for space, and fun and everything else. An integral part of the collaboration and a fascinating build in its own right!
Thanks David, it was the biggest thing I have ever built! I really liked the haze work and blue flames, Pico added to it in the collab photo! :)

Thanks Tom... red and black seems to be a color combo that I'm attracted to recently! :)

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 fascinating concepts, nice ship, I like it s cargo freighter style, it s convincing for the story, I m trying to figure a way to promote your concepts in my future episodes, well done Topsy!
Thanks Frank. Let me know of any ideas that come your way and I'll keep you posted on any I have. I slowed down a touch due to family obligations during April/May. Also, I didn't want to go any further with the whole cargo barge idea until Pico completed the editing of our team project, Mining Frenzy. Also, I didn't want to forge ahead with anything dealing with Alta-5 until you were back in action. :)

Quoting Parrington Levens :D Wow, hope you're having fun with it. I am working on it again. Not far from the end, and yet another edit. In the end, I will be compiling the three stories into one, ie Legacy Of Steel, Hel's Daughter and Endgame Horizon. They will form the three parts of one GAIA Saga novel :) Thanks for reading, and for being into sci fi! It seems humanity's interest in space is at an appaling all time low since the 60's. Crazy. Out there is our future.
I know, funding for NASA is on the decline too. I'm concerned about the overly right wingers in the US not understanding the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics! Anyhoo, I've slowed down a touch with my Anime viewing and I've just returned to reading H's Daughter! :)

Quoting Gerald F. Whoa!! Stunning ship! I love the red and black color scheme which makes the Satisfaction look so majestic.
Hey thanks, GF! Darkla likes red and black and... well... this build was also made for another project with a group I am in, and those colors just seemed like they would work for both places! Loved your TI for April. I don't know if I will get a chance to do one, I am still in the development stage as far as a write-up/ideas?! :)

Quoting David Roberts What a strange starship. I like the fly agaric mushroom on its deck.
Yes, its strangeness can be directly attributed to its aetherodynamical characteristics which result in its unique flight trajectories during trips to the stars! :)

Thanks Parr! I am still working on reading chapters of your GAIA daughter story which I am enjoying! I will comment on my reading either here or in my comments on 1 of your flickr posts as I really don't want to open an account on the story site... mocpages and flickr is almost too much for me... ha, ha! :)

Quoting --R.K. Blast-- Nice job! It doesn't look like 100 studs to me (Apologies if I am wrong.) But I wasn't picky with... um... whoever else fairly recently did this build, so I won't be picky here. Your points have been added! You are now free to move onto another league! --Blast--
Thanks, Blast... actually measured from the end of the middle thruster to the tip of the front D.U.D.'s projection, it is 106 studs long... and that's not including the length of the exhaust flames! It's probably its narrowness that deceives one's perception of its length. :)

Thanks, of course my editing can not even compare to that done by you-know-who for the you-know-what! If you haven't seen his WIP's yet, visit that group and have a look/see. Last I checked you were still a member?! As always, many thanks for the Topsy's occasional BSG appearances! :)
