Another DOUBLE set review for you! Two of the latest Avengers sets! Please comment, rate and enjoy!
About this creation
So, this is what you get with the Quinjet set. Box, 6 bags, 2 instruction booklets, a sticker sheet and a comic.
And here is it fully built.
The van is a nice little build. Simple but effective.
You push down on this tile and the sides pop off to free the Vision's, uh... pod.
The Vision in his pod-thing.
Captain America's bike. I think it's a new design, but I may be wrong.
Now onto the Quinjet itself. It's a nice sturdy build. Takes a decent amount of time to make. Lots of great movable parts and some great angles on it.
Showing some of those nicely created angles.
Both wings are fully pose-able.
The cockpit opens to seat one.
More pose-able flaps.
Two of the new stud-fire guns. (Not sure why it has a 'L'earner sticker on it!) But on the subject of stickers, everything in this set is a sticker, there are no printed parts.
The rear of the ship with both hatch's open.
With them closed. It looks a little flat when it's closed up to be honest but that's pretty much my only criticism, so...
The top panel lifts up so that you can fit Captain America and his bike inside.
You then push a button on top and the bottom panels open up and he drops out.
Push down on this logo button...
And Black Widow (or whoever you've put there) will drop out of the hidy-hole under the wing on a rope.
On the other side of the plane (I forgot to photograph it) is another hidy-hole with a double stud-gun in it which you can pull out on an arm.
Now, the best part of Lego sets these days, the figures! We get Ultron Prime, Iron Man, Black Widow, Vision and Captain America. All of these figures are brand new and all bar Iron Man are exclusive to this set. They are all really nice.
Ultron Prime. His head piece is two parts (A neck part and a helmet) and his head is a trans-orange globe with some almost unnoticeable bubble-things around the visible mouth area.
Iron Man's Mark 43 armour. It's the same version as in both the Hulkbuster set and the Avengers Tower set. Still, a nice design though.
The back. Tony's face is the same as we've had in past sets with one smug face and one angry face.
Captain America in his new suit. This is the same figure as in the new Hellicarrier set, but this version comes with his mask rather than his face and hair.
His new suit is looking very nice though.
Black Widow in her new jumpsuit. Love the blue highlights and the almost-classic belt buckle. Her new hair part is interesting too. Always good to get new female parts.
Her back-side. (Make your own joke here.) You can see her alt-face too.
The best of the lot - Vision. Some really great detail on his printing, especially on his face.
His back printing.

A really great set. It's a fantastic build, with a great play factor. The figures are really outstanding. It's just a fantastic set all around. Price wise it should be £69.99 but in the UK Argos currently have it at £10 off, so I got it for £60, so, even better value.
Now onto the second set. The Avengers Jeep and the Hydra Buggy and Thor on one of those pathetic jumper things. Oh, Iron Man comes with one of those in the Quinejet set too.
The idea is that you make Thor jump and knock the gun off the top of the Hydra buggy. Uh, it's really hard to make happen even though the gun is so loose it falls out a lot.
The jeep is a nice sturdy design and the gun turret on top swivels with two good old fashion flick-fire missiles.
The three figures. The Hydra soldier (who from his printing, looks rather like they have been experimenting with the Chitauri armour from the first Avengers film.) The new Hawkeye and new Thor. Hawkeye's new suit is cool. Thor's is not much different from his previous version but is still nice.
They're backs. Again, a better look at the suspiciously Chitauri-like armour on the Hydra guy. Simple back printing for Hawkeye and Thor's. You can see their alt-faces as well. Oh, one thing to mention is that both Thor and Vision's capes are now actual cloth rather than the stiff stuff Lego have used up until now. It's really nice actually.
Build:8/10 Figures:9/10 Pieces:8/10 Playability Factor:9/10 Value For Money:8/10 Overall:8.4/10
It's a really nice £20 set. The buggy is a little weak, especially with the weapon. But other than that, it's great to play with, the figures are good for the set... Yeah. A nice build.
Great reviews. I passed on the Quinjet last time so I'll probably have to get this one. The mini's look killer, and the Vision is one of my favorite characters (from the cartoon Earth's Mightiest Hero's anyway).

Are these out already? I live in the US so I know some one is going to jack up the prices..:P Other than that you did a really great review and you've persuaded me to get these sets at some point!
Yes, they came out at the start of Marvh. And US prices are only $10 more than the UK price.
