2015 Mocathlon: Romeo and Juliet
Signifying Nothing! Shakespeare. Create a diorama depicting an epic scene from one of the bardís celebrated plays.
About this creation
Friends,Romans, countrymen! (oops, wrong play!) :)
I would like to present my entry for the 2015 Mocathlon.
I was given the category of creating one of Shakespeare's epic plays.
Romeo and Juliet was one of the first that came to mind, so I undertook the task of creating the iconic scene near the end of the tragic play.

I used this as a reference image for my build:

A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life...

Friar Laurence running down to see a horrible sight.
I hear some noise. Lady, come from that nest
Of death, contagion, and unnatural sleep:...

The wallwork was challenging, rewarding, and hair pulling all in one. :)

I kinda ran out of pieces there... :P

The arch to the building. This is one of my first attempts at building something medieval, so I hope that it is good!

O happy dagger! -Juliet

I hope that you enjoyed looking at my creation as much as I enjoyed making it!
Good luck to all my other contestants!
