With the Enolean Government embroiled deep in trade negotiations with the galactic senate, the mining rights on Enolea 4's primary moon which was abundant in the rare mineral ore 'Belamite' (used in the production of starship Jump engines), was still unresolved and it was clearly necessary to protect the Enolean interests and the best way this was achieved was with a continued show of force.
It all too soon became clear that the Enoleans were to be overrun with corporations and conglomerates wanting to establish mining rights but that couldn't be allowed to cease the existing delivery of trade grade Belemite to existing corporations which relied heavily on this to allow faster than light drive construction so the Enolean government commissioned the construction of a vast defence fleet consisting of, amoungst other classes, the 'ASIRISA' class Armoured Transport.
The ASIRISA is basically a standard Enolean ore hauler which has been redesigned with super-lux sublight engines and a heavy grade defence grid. ASIRISA are never alone in transit but it may be called upon to defend its cargo so it has been equipped with a light but powerful weapons compliment. It is common for the ASIRISA to be accompanied by at least three VOOLU class Hyperdrive Interceptors to be used as escorts.
As with all Enolean vessels, the Pod can eject when required and the ASIRISA is modular making it perfect for a variety of Mission-Specific roles
This is the seventh in a list of fleet designs set aside for the Enolean protectorate so watch this space for more Enolean starcraft coming soon!
ACK. Looooooove the design! I dunno if people have been nagging you about this, and I dont intend on doing that, but have you thought about what an Enolean citizen looks like? I'd sure like to see that!
Hi Bob - Just rolled into town from a trip and THIS is what greets me on mocpages...why, I'm beginning to think this could be a good day! Great design and color scheme, and I really enjoyed the background commentary. A nice addition to the theme!
I like it

A worthy addition to the Enolean theme... I'm looking forward to seeing more!
I love this!!!!! My only complaint is that it isn't just a little bigger. I think the colors are perfect for what you did with the styling...it looks very realistic (in a sci-fi movie kinda way). Excellent!
