About this creation
The year is 2099. Frank Castle has been dead for a long time. Enter Jake Gallows. He's a member of the Public Eye, a future police force. He watches his family get murdered. Later, he discovers Castle's War Journals, and decides to take on the mantle of the Punisher. Armed with an array of new and old school weaponry, he takes on the criminals in his own way.

I'm not too familiar with the 2099 comics. But I knew I had to include this guy in my Punisher gallery. This costume was even trickier than Ennis' version. I came up with a good blend of futuristic weapons for him.

Ratings glitches on this site have become a real nuisance. If you're one of my first raters, please check on it afterwards to make sure it hasn't dropped. Thanks in advance.

This costume and skull offered some real challenges. Trying to find a design for the shoulder pads without compromising movement too much was tricky. And the skull... don't even get me started.

The skull shaped kneepads, and twin sidearms.

The BTR-78 Rifle. "The Ol' 78", as Jake calls it. An original design. In 2099, this gun is 21 years old, so it's old school futuristic. Contains stun pellets, taggers, auto rounds, and even high ex. One of the most fun parts of making these guys is designing unique weapons for them.

The CL-98 Compression Laser. New tech. Made in 2098 for special forces.

The Variable Density Power Bat. This is based in a weapon Jake actually had in the comics, but the look is my own design. Can change from a rubber club to a titanium bat and anything in between.

The DP-34 Dynamic Pistols. Again, my own design.

Well, he is my favorite character in Marvel, and he's had some different looks over the years. I still have like 3 or 4 more I haven't posted yet. Thanks for commenting.
Quoting Orthos the Repented, (Destroyer of Mercenoid Prototype 9.2) Hmmmm.... It's just a hunch, it's not like you have a lot of creations of him or something, but I'm guessing that you like the Punisher...

Quoting matt rowntRee Impressive! Love the barrel on the ol' 78. That brick built torso with the gaps and angles is the star of the show. Clever. Excellent!

Quoting M<0><0>DSWIM ! I can see where the skull design would be a pain, but you tackled it masterfully. The overall look and design of the costume looks really cool!

Thanks Clayton. A bunch of Marvel characters had a 2099 version back in the 90's, I think. No surprise he's not too familiar.
Quoting Clayton Marchetti Cool looking skull! Great assortment of weapons too. I've never heard of this version before. Sounds awesome.
