Taking Inventory...
So I decided to clean off my dresser or as I like to call it, my bionicle display. Seeing as my room is full of mocs designed for the LOMU RPG, I thought I should share them with you. Granted, this post only covers the matoran and characters from the RPG. I will do a seperate post for all of the vehicles later. I hope you like em!
About this creation
image
Matoran speedbike - Buying random parts lots on ebay can yeild some very good ideas.
image
I aquired a semi-assembled technic bike along with other interesting parts.
image
Thus, this neat little bike was born!
image
The flat wheels allow it to be posed as if it is in motion.
image
I even left the shock absorber where it was and it still functions to an extent.
image
The fenders and lights are made with system.
image
Bottom - not much to see...
image
It is rideable!!! Did you think I was kidding??
image
attaching arms is a tad difficult, but it does fit perfectly on the seat.
image
Zoom, Zoom!
image
I had originally intended for this to be a futuristic vehicle that would be used against my main character for LOMU, but sadly, I was never able to use it.
image
Now, this I call a...uhh...umm...a...rakvyrn? Or how bout just a wyvern. Yep. That'll do!
image
I used some wings from a castle set I got long ago, and I think the color scheme works very well. The articulation of the wings is particularly pleasing!
image
If it looks a little crude in the back, I was experimenting with a rather strange torso design.
image
It was paired with this character in the Mission 1 of LOMU. the matoran's name was Maulana and was supposed to be an elderly being with the capability to control and befriend rahi.
image
This guy I love! The idea of weaponized prostetics is a really great concept for bionicle. (DUH)
image
He is nameless because, like many of these things, I never got to use them. If he were to appear, his story would be that of a soldier injured in battle that somehow aquired prostetic limbs.(and an artifical heartlight, I might add)
image
"What you lookin at, punk?"
image
How many matoran do you know that break dance? Seems like only one...
image
This is Laat, a general of the southern resistance army, featured in Mission 2 of my LOMU entries. The reason you do not see him in that post is because I never finished editing the hundereds of pictures I took for that post. I dont know If I ever will, seeing as the group is deceased...
image
That scythe though!
image
He is built off a simple av matoran torso, nothing special. The scythe was made before the actual character was made, so there you go.
image
I would like to point out that there are going to be lots of custom capes in this post. However, Can you find venzons cape? Actually not that hard...By the way, This is Lakkawn, my character from the LOMU rpg, who has since been retired.

L- "More like abandoned"...

J- "Dont worry, you will be put to use soon.

L - "That does not make me feel any better."
image
This is an elder matoran. I would not consider it a turaga...Its not tall enough.
image
More than likely, this moc will be used to represent the character Dilmar, from my storyline.
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/405888
image
Now here is another favorite. This moc is an interpetation of Commander Spencer's character for LOMU , dubbed Rotu, or Commander Rotu, or Supreme Commander Rotu of the Nambu Nui Empire!
image
I think I did well with the capes on this guy.
image
Heres a look at what's under the cape. Somewhere in there is an actual matoran torso from the first bionicle lines.
image
Now this one seems to be popular. His name was Raxis and was featured in my LOMU entry in referrence to the japanese game series Monster Hunter. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/396807
image
I will not be making instructions for the sword. I will be making a seperate post for both the large war machines and rahi and one for the weapons. (I made a lot of stuff)
image
He is a lot less complicated than he looks. I will make a seperate post for the frame. Other than that, it's just a bunch of HF limbs and armor.
image
Acutally, the base design for the sword is not mine. More on that later...
image
Wait...Who is this??! Could it be!!? Is he back??

image
? - "Yes, that is my back..."

J- "who are you?"

? - "I...Am..."
image
"BALD!!!!!" (If you don't know who this is supposed to be, than you really don't know bionicle, or at least the story)
image
Next is Thena, another LOMU character I like very much. Get the name reference?
image
I wanted to make a matoran fully clad in heavy armor. You will see that I attempted this many times as you scroll down the page...Considerable designs include the helmet-like head, and...that's it really...
image
Unless you include this contraption. This, boys and girls, is a gunlance. Inspired by weapons used in the Monster Hunter franchise (the single hardest game I have ever played).
image
It is a collapsible lance combined with the equivalent of a bazooka, that not only pierces its targets but then blows them away...into many pieces...not pretty...
image
Despite the weight of the massive weapon, she can still wield it.
image
Some crummy lighting here...
image
and here...
image
and here from above...
image
And Here is another armor experiment. I was trying to make use of the rakshi armor as plate skirts and this is what happened. It's also too big to be a matoran...
image
That sword though. I will talk about it another time.
image
Yes, when you build weapons bigger than the people that hold them, you know you watch too much anime...
image

image

image
It cool thing is that his arms are stocky enough so that he can hold the sword in any position without any support of any kind.
image
Now this is something you will be seeing often if you read my storyline, which I am working on. A common foot soldier.
image
If you are going to build an army of matoran, here is some advice. Make your stock characters or cronies as well as possible, using the best parts you have, since people will be seeing them a lot. Who am I kidding! No one was crazy enough to do this!!!
image
Wielding a standard issue assult rifle. This is a modified design of a master bio-biulder here on the pages. (or at least, he used to be) Anyone know who?
image
The weapon on his back is a spear(standard issue melee weapon), bent to appear more modern and allow for arm movement.
image
the rifle can also attach to the back. I have more guns available, but I will post them with the weapons.
image
Heavy armor infantryman, or the walking tank, as I like to call it. I love this design!
image
The neck armor on the back is suppose to give the look of wearing a heavy suit of armor.
image
If you type 'bionicle weapons' into google, you will find that the laser cannon is not my design. In my story however, this weapon actually comes from a tank. (Yes, I built a tank)
image
This...is Alomar, my first self moc, or a small portion of it at least.

Al - "Aren't you going to give me my own post?"

J - "Soon Alomar, be patient!"
image
I have a question for people that actually read this. Should I wear the helmet on the larger side or the shorter side? Let me know!
image
Comparison with a soldier.
image
The Gangs all here! At least, what Ive posted so far!
image

image
Al - "Hey, the creator says we might be posted soon!"

? - "Really? It's about time!"

Fourth Wallpaper - I apologize for the poor picture quality on some of these. I do not have any place to set up backdrops, so I am making due with my music binder and grey lego base plate. I will be posting instructions for my two frames I used for the matoran in a seperate post. Thank you for stopping by and comments and criticisim are much appreciated. See ya later!

Bleh, sorry I didn't get around to commenting on this earlier. Ohmigosh, that gunlance! xD I love how well you incorporated the pompous and over stylized weapon design from Monster Hunter. It looks absurdly huge, yet aesthetically pleasing at the same time. Gotta say, I'm a fan of your armored Matoran builds. Something I've been struggling with is keeping smaller characters, well, smaller but bulky at the same time.

Quoting Hunter Chains You are one of the main reasons I feel bad for cancelling the LOMU RPG. You seemed so immersed in it and you made such cool mocs for it. I wanted to restart it a few months ago but sometimes time isn't exactly in your favor. Still, awesome mocs man!
Don't worry about it. What's dead is dead, I guess you could say. Thank you for the comment!

Quoting Lord Glazed Donut @JosephC123 Chro was the guy who introduced me to the pages I've seen so much of his stuff, apparently I can recognize his style.
That makes sense.

Holy cow! I am not a Bionicle guy myself, but a MOC like this could change a man. Probably not, but it could. Lots of great creations and techniques...the wyvern, the silver armor guy, and the dark silver "tank" armor guy (forgot his name) are my favorites, and I dig all your different capes. Great work!

I wouldn't go that far, but thank you for the kind comment! The things those guys can do with legos are amazing to me. I'm just very good at replicating those things.

Quoting RaptorTalon (Master of the Core) That grey guy is ether Krakua or Makuta...
Makuta, yes. Although if I were to insert him into my storyline, I would make up a new character for him.

Quoting Lord Glazed Donut Bald? I've read every bionicle novel and post on Bionicle story at least twice, and I have no idea who the h e double hockey sticks that is. Oh, and does that foot soldier rifle belong to Chro?
Yes! The rife is a modification to his design! Good job on that one! The bald one is supposed to represent Makuta in his matoran "form".

Quoting Toa Sam ~ Okay, I REALLY like the little black and gunmetal guy with the broadsword. Do you think you could post instructions specifically for him?
