About this creation
name: unknown (is known as reef) gender: unknown species: unknown race: mutant occupation: legend titles: the reef, the pit. element: coral specialty: being a crab person? kanohi: none equipment/weapons: crab claw status: alive alignment: chaotic good personality: a bit "crabby!" geddit? GEDDIT!!! quote: *chatter* moc status: assembled backstory: long ago, the pit was not toxic, or home to many many different criminals. however, when the order of mata nui eventually did need a prison, they decided on the pit. after digging it out, the pits first ever prisoner was the being now called reef. reef was chained to the bottom most part of the pit, and left to rot. that place was already water, and so reef somehow developed the ability to breath underwater. over many years, a toxic coral started to grow around the now dead reef. when the great cataclysm shattered the dome, the water that flooded in was immediately tainted with the toxic mutagen given of by reefs coral grave. this is what caused the pit mutagen. after the mask of life discharged 1000 years later, as well as allowing the toa mahri to breath underwater and reviving hydraxon, it also revived the long dead reef, repairing the dead being body with whatever was around, such as multiple crabs, fish and the toxic coral itself. what arose was reef. claiming to be the king of the pit, reef stayed there throughout the final battle. reef was not cured with the staff of artaka, and stayed in the pit still, ruling over it. reef is supposedly still there.
front. head desighn was inspired by meskii/junie/sirtalisman/idontevenknowanymo's moc, rufu.
back. i need to work on the back of the torso, but i love how the hf beast lower jaw looks as a carapace.
side. the lower half of this moc was taken from an earlier unposted odd world paramit moc. if you dont know oddworld, watch these (contains swearing.): click here

now, for the mutant darog shark. here is a link to my original version of this horrible beast:
front. it almost a dog...BUT WITH SHARKS!!!! OK, i will stop with the caddy jokes now.
Attention to detail: Looks good on first glance, but the torso appears to be lacking in detail (back armor, and just more fleshing out). 3/5 Accordance with the set theme: The color scheme is good, but it doesn't exactly look like a living part of a coral reef. 3/5 Posability: From what I can see, this one looks very poseable. 5/5 Colors: The color scheme is good overall, but I feel there is to little orange and red. Plus, the Trans-Light Blue bones in the shoulders are distracting. 3.5/5 Realism: Love your backstory, especially how you incorporated the Pit into it. It totally seems like something that would actually happen in the Bionicle universe. But, it looks like something that would guard a coral reef, not be a living part of it. 4/5 18.5/25 Overall, not a bad job. Really love your backstory, and the shark dog is a cool inclusion (though I didn't judge him).

(This is way off-topic and I didn't know where else to ask this) you left a comment on one of my creations pertaining to RWBY....Do you know anything about if the show will continue?
i did notice you where watching it when i checked your youtube. honestly, i dont know. i assume you watched volume 2. sadly, after monty oums sad passing,we may not get a volume 3. RWBY was his brain child, and with him gone, rooster teeth may have to discontinue the series. at least we still have red vs blue.
Sweet, very original idea! For simplicity's sake, I'm only judging the figure himself, not the dog (but in my opinion, he looks slapped together). My scores:
Attention to Detail: 4/5 He looks really cool, very clean and nicely detailed looking. Excellent.
Accordance to Theme: 2.5/5 He looks really cool, but he's not very coral like. Although props to making him a Pit dwelling mutant, a nice watery theme with the crab legs also.
Posability: 4/5 From what I can see here, he has some wonderful leg articulation, even the small arms have elbows, and +10 for the waist joint!
Colors: 2/5 Too much blue. Not enough other colors. Nuff' said.
Realism: 4/5 He looks like a sea-dwelling crab, man. That's pretty oceanic, but not very coral like.
Final Score: 16.5/25 (3/5)
Regardless, this looks really cool! Keep it up!
