About this creation
Well here is my entry to this contest! http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/25002

Motto: "There's plenty of fish in the sea....I'm one of em!"

Bio:

Tidepool is a living coral reef, he hosts a fish, a crab, and various amounts of algal plants upon his back. He carries around a typhoon anchor that was lodged into his back when he was still a coral reef. He brings it wit him to use as a defense and serves as a reminder to him of ignorance.

That fishy thing with the hexagonal fins is a fish...ignore the suspension stick

Attention to detail: Some of the details look messy (such as the back of the upper legs), and I dislike the head, but I love the included sea life. 3.5/5 Accordance with the set theme: Gonna have to agree with Patrick on this one. I get a "Master of the Ocean" vibe from this, not coral reef. 3/5 Posability: Looks pretty poseable. 4/5 Colors: I feel that if you had replaced a some of the blue lower on his body with red and orange this would have been slightly better, and might have given more of a coral reef vibe to him. 4/5 Realism: As I said earlier, not really getting living part of a coral reef from this guy. That said, he totally looks like he could guard one. 4/5 17.5/25 Very nice work overall. While I feel that it doesn't totally remind me of a coral reef, I really like it as a King of the Ocean thing.

Quoting Dark Aeon Allright, time to judge! Detail: 4.5. Piraka feet on his feet stick out, but otherwise would be a five. Theme: 4. Perfectly fits the theme, but I had to take off a point because I recollect you specifically stating to not create a full-out coral reef (which is basically what this guy is, just in human form). Possibility: 5. Colors: 5. Realism: 4. Overall: 22.5/25
I had meant a literal coral reef...like an actual coral reef...but whatever

Quoting Jsomega Works Love that new element wait it is it an element? Who knows but the only thing that is bothering me is the kumjubelnis (yes that's a word) of it. But I think you have a 50/50 chance this time around.
What do you mean element?

Quoting Patrick Mont Detail: 3.5/5 Posability: 4/5 Theme: 3.5/5 Colors: 3.5/5 Realism: 4/5 Total: 18.5/20 This was a bit difficult to judge. The title "Master of the Reef" does not really seem to fit as he is all blue, more "Master of the Ocean". For the detail, the sea life is great, but if you take that away he is just a blue giant. But as a humanoid creation he has a large amount of posability and it seems as if he could guard a reef, but it doesn't look as if it would inhabit an actual coral reef.
He is a literal coral reef....a living coral reef. Also...there are blue corals...which was what I was going with.....and all of the little colored things on his back are living things attached to his hard corally surface...

My total score would be 4/5. This looks great, I love the tiny sea animals and the trans pieces, but the majority of him is blue with all the color clustered on top. Build-wise, he looks fantastic.
