About this creation
This was my part for a team building contest at Eurobricks. I worked together with Kabel, our mocs are modular and fit together.
...And I had forgotten to post it here.

I experimented with alternate colors for building the seabed.
You see I figured when you look at things underwater they look a bit bluish.
That unique baseplate from the old aqua sharks sure came in handy.

I systematically diverted from the traditional dark gray and used blue for the submerged rock work.
With the same Idea in mind I used medium blue for sand instead of tan.

I intend to expand this experiment by building a much larger underwater diorama.

The blue works well, and the illusion is complete. Nice work!

Cool! Love that color break from grey to blue as it goes underwater and all the details. Refreshing!

Your idea is good, but I believe your MOC is too small for the idea to work optimally.

That's a really cool idea that works really well too. I can almost smell the salt water. Makes me want to go swimming!

Quoting Desert752 Kirill Cool diorama! I know that people use glass as a water border - what do you think about this?
I wouldn't say glass is the best way to do it but there has to be something physical to represent the water surface IMO.
Quoting Joost Cumps Love it! But the guy that just fell in the water has to be lightish blue either?
You're right, for my next scene I'm using divers (blue scuba outfit) so that shouldn't be a problem.
