Built in honor of the Crucifixion and Death of or Lord, Jesus Christ. Assembled and photographed on Good Friday, 2015.
About this creation
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last. Luke 23:46
I didn't include the other two crosses, because I barely found the parts for Jesus and I don't have parts for the two thieves. I also only included the important people, Jesus, Mary, John, and a guard.
EDIT: The guard is meant to be the Centurion who said: Truly this man was the Son of God!
Great job, Thomas! I meant to build something like this or a resurrection Moc, but life has been busy for me as well. :/ The rocks btw are fantastic!

Lovely build! I love the Rockwork again!! Let God bless us all! Amazing build My friend.. I see that your embracing in another epic quest, your gonna use your lego bricks to save the princess, but it's Dangerous to GO ALONE, Take THIS! (Lego bricks) Sorry I gotta do that! Again amazing build! ~ Andrew
Each time I think of the Passion of Christ, I wonder if I was in His place, if I would be able to undergo all of that torture the way He did. Lent helps to strengthen us in that level of endurance for suffering, I think. For we are weak, but He raises us up. Great creation for an event that changed the world. 5/5! :-)
Beautiful. All I would say is that the crowd that came to watch him crucified was massive. Maybe some more figs would help fill the model. For he was condemed by the entire world, and died for the entire world, so that people like you and me would be saved.
