MCT R62: RSR
Hi friends! I'm finally back:D
About this creation
A lot of time is passed since I posted a creation here. But I've found enough time to share my new car: the RSR. Please don't skip it, it's not a boring R62 again. It looks like the old model, but I rebuilt almost all of it. I hope you will like it!

This is my entry for Motoring March contest 2015. The RSR is not a simple track day car or a R62 with a rear wing, it's so much more. The RSR is supposed to be a racing car for the GTE class.

A year is passed between this and the old GT3. I worked hard on it, and I'm satisfied of the result.

Let's start with the pictures!

As you can see, the rear has been rebuilt. Completely! I love how it looks now. It has got a new diffuser, new exhausts, new lights, new wing and new rear window.

Side profile. I like the huge headlights, they remember me LeMans cars. The splitter, the four wings, the tow hook and the bonnet are new.
You can notice that I rebuilt the side intakes.

Bonnet and doors open. Here you can see that I have put suspension between the wheels. And the doors open in scissor style now. I like them a lot.

Interior picture. That's a race car, as you can see. I removed everything! I've also changed the flappy paddles with a sequential gearbox. Because race car. You can also notice the battery switches and the air vent.

Side profile again. Here you'll meet all my work...

...the whole rear lifts up to reveal the engine and the rear suspension! Cool, uh? ;)

..And the engine bay. A bit complex, tough. But this still is a race car and it has to have a complex engine!

Final shot. I hope you liked my creation! Please leave a comment or rate, you'll make me happy!!

Quoting eric s I had to be the 13th 5/5! ;] This thing looks really intense, and solidly represents the GTE division alongside Lamborghini's, Porsche's, Vipers and 458's! My hands-down favorite element is your fantastic job on the suspension - front & rear; it looks awesome!!!
Wow! Thank you! :-)

Quoting Henrik Jensen Great to see new stuff from you. I second "Turbo Chargers" comment; It would be great to see this one in real bricks.
Building real things is quite difficult for me because I own lots of technic pieces but no mid-scale cars pieces. Anyway thanks :D
