Elefant Heavy tank destroyer (RC)
Another Elefant... but this one is better.
About this creation
I present my latest model, a 1/18 Elefant Heavy tank destroyer build on the chassis of my Tiger Porsche. I am quite proud of how this model turned out, as this is my second time building an Elefant, my first version build over a year ago, and it was oversized, and suffered from mechanical problems. This version retains all of the functions of the original, but with even more detail, and added functions. This model features suspended bogies on torsion bars for suspension, dual V6 engines with generators and running fans ( this layout is entirely different from the Tiger Porsche's), Led lights, gun traverse, gun elevation/depression, and gun recoil with a servo motor.

I'm no tank historian, but that sure is a cool model. Apparently you're going have to build something scarier if you want to intimidate that cat though!

Quoting killswitch95 [DEMON] quick 2 questions tommy, then ill stop bugging you and let you get back to building, 1. are you still updating your large scale armor building guide? and 2. since youve made a new elefant, and you said before you made the turret slightly off to conserve tiles, im sure now you have all the right pieces to redo your E-100 into the biggest baddest E-100 of them all... you know i had to suggest it considering how much i hounded you to make it in the first place, but then again, what are impulsive builder friends for :)
1. no, I am not, I am sticking to making instructions of my models, the maybe people can use those for inspiration. 2.... just wait, It won't be coming this summer but possibly after a few years until college is finished.... and it will be even larger like 6 XL motors and 8 stud wide dishes for road wheels large... :)

Looking at both your old and new Elefants, I see you improved the hole in the superstructure where the gun is placed. Looks much better than the square hole on the old one!

Quoting killswitch95 [DEMON] nice to know it doesnt bend the axles this time, and yeah i thought your cat was a persian, purebreed huh, thats expensive. and yeah no disrespect at all, i just think persians are funny cause they look like they got punched in the face, and thats why their faces look sad, angry, and squished together hahahaha whats his name? its gotta be something big and bad right... and if you havent noticed by now, im cat people :)
His name is Teddy, and his brother James ( he's on the bottom of my panther's page) . My family got the specific breed because they are incredibly docile, this is because of my autistic brother, as if he were to grab them incorrectly they would be less likely to bite him.

Quoting killswitch95 [DEMON] nice! the real question... does it bend your axles this time like it did last time? and also, is your cat one of those expensive breeds of cat? because ive seen cats like that cost alot of money even though they look like somebody punched them in the face... still cute though
no it doesn't bend axles, and yes my cat is a purebred Persian cat.
