Story: Pesok lived in Po-Koro for many years, serving as a guard for the village. He specialized in combat within the desert, using the environment to his advantage. As he continued to serve, he rose through the ranks of the Po-Koro Guard and began to lead groups of other Po-Matoran on various missions. He was soon assigned the task of venturing into the desert to search for valuable resources for the village due to his reliablility in the field, as supplies were quickly exhausted in constant rahi and Makuta attacks. He led many Matoran on these missions, becoming a respected member among the guard.
On one such mission, he was sent to investigate an underground cave that was reported to hold a variety of supplies that were abandoned by a caravan when they became trapped. Upon entering the cave, something seemed amiss. Out of the darkness, sprung a towering warrior clad in black armor. Within seconds, only Pesok remained standing out of the seven Matoran that entered the cave. Desperate to stay alive, Pesok hid within one of the caravan vehicles and began to search for something to help. During this time, an explosion rocked the cave. Pesok was hurled out of the vehicle, only to see the dark warrior collapsed at his feet and another warrior standing victorious. The warrior explained he was a member of the Order of Mata Nui and Pesok was chosen to become a member. Worried about his fallen comrades, the warrior explained that they were still alive, yet would not be allowed to know what would happen to Pesok. Pesok left the cave with the warrior, with grief for the misfortune of his fellow Po-Koro Guard members.
Pesok joined the Order of Mata Nui, specializing in desert missions. He continued jobs similar to those he did during his time in Po-Koro, but also joined with OoMN Toa for larger missions. After he had proven his worth as a member and a fighter, he was granted a Toa Stone, becoming a Toa of Stone. After many months of training, he became an able Toa. Although during this time, his training in the desert and sand resulted in his specialization in manipulating sand and he became a Toa of Sand primarily. Also during this time, he abandoned the sword as his weapon of choice, prefering primitive firearms for their range. As he rose through the ranks of the Order, he commissioned various firearms for his purposes.
Pesok began leading other OoMN members on missions into the desert against a variety of enemies, including Dark Hunters and Makuta and Matoran rebel groups. He gained a reputation as a strong and reliable leader during his years leading squads of OoMN members.
As the Matoran World was captured within the Makuta Robot, Pesok was able to escape with the assistance to his gear he was wearing coming back from a mission. He assisted other OoMN members in escaping and helping fight the robot from within. He managed to critically damage portions of the robot using grenades he was carrying. After the Battle of Bara Magna concluded, Pesok helped free the Matoran and vanished into the desert, only to rejoin the remaining OoMN members. He continued serving them and leading various missions to assist the rebuilding.
After years of service with the OoMN, Pesok was invited to join the Council of Toa as a leader for various desert missions. He accepted and joined the ranks of the CoT. He conducted various missions, solo and with groups, into the desert searching for materials to help the Matoran as well as hunting down enemies such as remaining Makuta and Dark Hunters

Jaetaro's Notes: This was a really fun build for me. I utilized the torso and upper arms from Jraon as a base and incorporated designs from other builds yet developed some new designs as well. I have been wanting to to a tan/brown moc for a while and this was my chance. I built this over the course of several days, modifying the design to perfection. I thought the build came out very nice and he is one of my favorite mocs now. Btw, I thought the mask worked really well for a face with a headset.
The inspiration of this build was a US desert marine, backed by my playing of BF4 and recently watching American Sniper. It was also another chance to utilize the various firearms I have built in Lego (ask if you want a pic of my full arsenal) and give thanks to those serving to protect the US in the armed forces.
The inspiration of the name comes from "песок," meaning sand in Russian (ironic given the inspiration of this build :P)
I decided to make Pesok my 3rd self-moc, representing my interest with the military and firearms and my respect for them.
One of the best Bio-MOCs I've seen in a while, I really like the entirety of this guy as a character. General build, nice arsenal, neat element. The guns are incredible, I love seeing arsenals like this for Bio-MOCs. The legs are great, especially how the guns fits right where it should, nice work! The only thing I would point out is that the shoulders are just a tad low, but passable. Nice use of the Mata torso as well! Great job all around, it's great to see you active! (even if it's partially)
Hmm... not sure if you got my comment or not on flickr. But I'll just say it again in case you did not. I really liked the legs - they look well built and very compacted. However I thought that the arms were just a bit too thick. I think removing one layer of the technic "beam" will be good enough. Glad to see you are still going strong in the LEGO community! :D
