Super Mario Bros.
A little something I threw together from the Super Mario Bros. videogame.
About this creation
Hello everyone,

I haven't had much time to build the last couple months, but as you can see, I did have a little bit of time for messing around with the bricks. This build all started when I was fiddling around with some curved slopes and arches, trying to make a realistic-looking cloud, and those mini-figure sacks/buckets, which make excellent Goombas. The rest just kinda followed.

Now, I'm not much of a gamer - I play maybe a couple times a month - but I've always enjoyed playing Super Mario Bros. and I really enjoyed building this.

Let me know what you think!

Main pic without the question mark.

The evil mushrooms. Gotta love these fellas....

The whole scene.

Thanks a lot for viewing! C&C always appreciated.

~Mark

If I may offer a few bits of criticism, I think that you should have used only a single 1x1 Cone piece under the bucket and then used 1 1x2 Single Stud Flat piece, 2 1x2 Double Stud Flat pieces, and 2 1x1 Single Stud Flat pieces when making your Goombas and their lower body structures. Also, if I were you, I would seriously consider making modifications to the Goombas by giving them custom stickers that actually resemble Goomba faces. I am sure that you can find someone to do that for yourself. Furthermore, if you can, I would find someone that could build a custom Koopa Troopa head for yourself and you could just simply modify the torso and back of a TMNT LEGO Minifigure (or custom build it to around the same specifications as one) for being a Koopa Troopa torso and you could give it normal Minifigure legs and arms. However, as for your Question Block and Clouds, I would make your Question Block, as well as Bricks, 2x2 Bricks instead of the configuration that you have and to also give them 2x2 Plates and a custom Question Mark on top of the Brick, and as for your Clouds, I would simply give them a Smiley Face sticker to put on to them and I am sure that, if you ask around, that you could ask someone that knows what they are doing to give you some custom decals or stickers to put on to your Clouds, Goombas, and Koopa Troopa. Finally, if I were you, I would consider asking someone to help give you a special Mario type hat for your game...or wait for Nintendo to FINALLY let Mario and company be in a LEGO game, specifically, LEGO Dimensions (Sonic made it in there, so it only makes sense to allow Mario and company to be in the game). However, other than those slight things, your build is actually a good one and I also have a few Mario Builds myself, though they are from the first couple of Super Mario Brothers games as opposed to the New Super Mario Brothers games like yours derive from in your work.

Haha, thanks! :)
Quoting Zach Lucia Perfect rendition of the classic eight bit style used in the mid 90s games! I love the colorful contrasts between the pipes, the diabolical villains in the forms of small mushrooms transitioned into the LEGO design. And the clouds! Perfectly showing how the inspired man can create an upside down block out of LEGO! Truly marvelous work my good man! *tips fedora* ~Zach
Thank you very much, Zach!
Quoting Caleb Lang 0/10 Bullet Bills don't move at an angle.
Well that's not entirely true. In Super Mario Bros., yes, but in Super Mario Galaxy, they can move all over the place. I just took some creative license. :)
