McLaren concept

My second model this year. A concept for the MCLaren competition I guess many have heard about by now. Size was a bit challenging for me since I do prefer bigger models because you can actually do finer details and all but nevertheless I am quite satisfied with how my model turned out. Of course, I can't do a model without putting some functions in it so yes, everything opens and steers again. I just hope I have reached the jury's aesthetes criteria.
About this creation

Lights were a bit of a challenge since I wanted something special, not quite to be a standard racer lights

I had much trouble figuring out the front but the back wasn't surprisingly a big deal. Exhaust pipes are on the bonnet right next to the lights

Exhaust part is now fully visible. As for the color scheme - I figured it out before I even started the model. I think it works. :)

Those windscreens I really like because they are sporty and futuristic and their left and right sides look like sides on a real car so I actually have it all in one part. I just can't make myself use tiles as window frame.

Yes, even that small front compartment opens. Doors have a base in the back rather than the front. It was easier to do and I think it works :)

up and left - exhaust (as a part of the door) again close and opened
on the right - engine coollers
down - part of the engine and a small portion of interior.

Full interior. If someone wants to know which parts I used here really just ask :)

Quoting Nick Barrett It looks more futuristic than most other entries, in a way a 'concept car' should be but seldom is. The shapes, colours, proportions, all scream Mclaren while not looking like the current cars. This ought to do well, good luck!
Geee, man. That is one serious comment there. Thanx a bunch. I tried to stay McLaren and at the same time be innovative but as I was checking other entries I couldn't help but think I could've done better. Oh, well... we'll see what will be. :)

Nice work on this, what a great scale too. I really dig the work you did on the front hood and the rear fender.
