Dornier Do 335 A-1
Dornier Do 335 A-1 "Pfeil" minifig size model.
About this creation

The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil ("Arrow") was a World War II heavy fighter built by the Dornier company. The Pfeil??'?s performance was much better than other twin-engine designs due to its unique "push-pull" layout and the much lower aerodynamic drag of the in-line alignment of the two engines.

This build is a minifig model of this famous aircraft. Stable build, playable as well with retractable gears.

Quoting Henrik Jensen A very smooth and good looking rendition of this awesome (one of my favourites) experimental fighter. You have captured the shape very nice, using mainly curved slopes and wedges. I like the two-seater version too, never seen it done in Lego before.
Thank you very much. Yes this is an unique plane, i think this is the first Lego built two seater.

Quoting MortalSwordsman . Great build. Unusual aircraft but the more you think about it the more it makes sense.
Thanks. It was difficult, the retractable front gear under the cockpit was the greatest challenge.

Quoting Locutus 666 A cool build. But I wonder why you put US-signs on it. It was a german plane.
Thank you! Yes this was a german fighter, but captured by US Forces in 1945. Then it was moved to US for testing purposes. This one is that plane.
