A glorious disqualification!
About this creation
This is my "entry" to round three of the Spacecraft Tournament!!!

Apologies to Commander Bricks and my worthy opponent Josiah Nelson, but I just didn't have time to build for this round. Here's hoping my "entry" at least gets a chuckle.

The TARDIS. It is a spaceship from the BBC television series "Dr. Who," which was once somewhat obscure but now is quite popular, and rightly so. As far as I know, I am the first LEGO builder to realize the bold vision of bringing the TARDIS to life in glorious microscale.

I was going for a David Tennant-era TARDIS, but really I think that this one turned out more like the Peter Davidson-era TARDIS. What do you think?

Brick selection is key if you want your creations to look as good as this one, especially when you're working at this small of a scale. Also plate selection. One brick and one plate, actually.

This is the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space), so of course it can hold an infinite number of minifigs, but sadly I was unable to work out how to get the pilot compartment to open, thusly disqualifying myself from the competition.

So there you have it. Other MOCs, my real-life job, and some musical responsibilities didn't allow me the time to build a proper entry. Hopefully this "entry" will be taken in the playful spirit in which it is intended.

Thanks to Commander Bricks and the judges for taking the time to put on the competition. Here's hoping that next year I will have more time to build when this thing rolls around again!

Thanks also to my opponent Josiah Nelson, and my previous opponent killswitch 95. See you next year!

Thanks! I tried to get by with just the 1x1 brick, but it looked better with additional plate...

I love the techniques you used, and the detail is just tremendous...XD Jokes aside, this is actually quite cool considering ti's just two pieces. Certainly brought a smile to my face.

With just two pieces, instantly recognizable! Haha this is just great XD. All we need now is a tiny little doctor who walking by the tardis travelling dimensions with it. Two pieces! Simply brilliant. Keep On Brickin'!

Well you went out with a hilariously entertaining bang! Yeah, figuring out how to get inside such a small door would be tricky.

As a bit of a twist, this is actually SMALLER on the inside...

Hahaha! You should submit this one to Lego Ideas, alongside a grey one for the 1960s Tardis (back when Tvs were black and white). You win the most entertaining DQ award!

Yep, stunning work yet again. You really captured the shape of the TARDIS, how it looks square from the top but also rectangular from the sides! [Ess]

Wow... such detail for such a small piece count. Actually, it reminds me most of the Christopher Eccleston era TARDIS.

Please excuse Lord Bacca (he must not have a sense of humor) this is the best creation ever you automatically win! But sadly you're DQ because you we're supposed to build it to have 2 minifigs but still amazing.
