EDW Kampflaeufer "Werwolf"
About this creation
In 1945, the Henschel Werke received the order to develop a heavy Kampflaeufer. This resulted in a number of light to medium Kampflaeufer. Within 17 months these came up to series production. In the heavy Kampflaeufer it was decided that the main armament was equal to the forther development of the gun from the Tiger 2 battle tank. This was extended to 10.5 cm and provided with improved rebound properties. As a secondary weapon of the Kampflaeufer received a four-barreled machine gun version, which could deliver up to 3800 shots per minute. The power unit was not as yet adopted by the Deutschen Wehrmacht by a gasoline engine. This is a twelve-cylinder diesel engine with 22 liter cubic capacity, and a power of 1350 hp. The improved with Molybdenum armor and a paint with Zimmerit this Kampflaeufer insert also heaviest shelling. After the first use of the Kampflaeufer they where quickly problems with the mechanics and the hydraulics, which were eleminated in improvements. At a fighting weight of 64 tons of the Kampflaeufer it reaches a speed of up to 54 Km / h. Only after the first combat mission this called up to then "KLV04" named Monster got its name from the opposing forces "Werwolf".

You made excellent use of those angled bricks to make it, pluse all the little details and greebs really help make the mech POP. Not sure why, but I really liked the little horizontal cylinder thing at the back corner of the mech. I just think it looks cool. The legs look strudy and well balanced, and the main cannons are stunning. Splendid work. Keep On Brickin'!

The armor plates protecting the main barrels is genius and my favorite part next to the heavily armored cockpit area; along with so many other unique bits throughout. In fact, I'm quite stunned - in my own opinion, this mech sets a serious STANDARD for the universe of Eroberung! One I'll come back to countless times for inspiration ^_^

Vielen lieben Dank mein Freund.

Quoting Chouju_X [SPAM] Awesome! Reminds me of the Wotan from Dust Tactics. This is the 3rd German mech to be named after a mythological creature, after my Dragon and Basilisk. Perhaps it's a theme?
You're right, I have taken the Jagdluther as a model. I have researched for a week and then invested about 100 hours in my version. The name I have deliberately chosen, because you have used Mythical names. The mechs are anyway in a team ;)

Quoting David Roberts Incredibly heavily armoured! I like the sideways section at the front, with its angled bricks and different sizes of curved bricks too. I also like how it has BIG feet, to keep it stable. So many mechs have tiny, wobbly feet and don't look very realistic. I like the back story too. It seems very likely that an aircraft manufacturer would build a complex machine like this and that it would have development problems.
I am particularly pleased that you like this MOC. Thank you for your pleasant Comment. I have invested a lot of work and research in this model.
