D.A. 2 - DRPPF Mecha-Walker MK1
Give some smiles to the DRPPF walker for the Mecha category of Decisive Action 2.
About this creation
The DRPPF's Mecha-Walkers are built for walking, and that's just what they'll do. One of these days these Mecha-Walkers will slowly amble over you.

The Mecha-Walker features two side-mounted missiles, one minigun and a cup holder.

Originally, due to an engineering error, the Mecha-Walker only had one weapons system. this meant that the walker was not specifications accurate and many engineers were imprisoned for their insolence. Here are some pictures from before the additional missile launchers were added...

Here you can see the operator, Pvt. Sparkles of the DRPPF Infantry Squad . She accesses the vehicle through the cockpit which is also a hatch. It's such a hatch. It's hatch qualities are hopefully specifications accurate.

Pvt. Sparkles, show us those legs in action...

Giddy-up!

"Where's the heat sink?" I hear you ask. It's here...

The heat sink's surface area allows it to disperse heat effectively through the neat little vent. It gets very hot and can be used as a makeshift barbecue.

Be sure to cook until the juices run clear.

This picture is for the catalogue.

Vrrrrmmmmmmmm! Vrmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Here's the minigun. You aim this at the things you want to get rid of.

Here's a picture of the side. Oooooooooh...

UPDATE: The first version did not adhere to this rule, "Your Mecha MOC must feature a number somewhere in the design", the engineers responsible have been deported. The walker now has a number...

Here's a pin-up shot to hang in the barracks...

Thanks for looking. Click on the smiley faces. That's what I would do if I were you.

Thanks :)

Quoting Ron L. Mitchell Your Mech now passes mustard...er...I mean muster. Sorry! Good luck in the upcoming conflict. *BBQ on the brain now...thanks*
I had BBQ on the brain at the time. My neighbours were cooking whilst I was building.

Quoting Stuart Lucas Ouch, being an engineer in the DRPPF is a high risk profession! Some really nice photos here, I especially like the one up on the back legs and the 'pin-up' shot!
Thanks. It's as if the engineers read the specifications, then had lunch, then started building without re-checking what they should have been building :)

Quoting Sam Sanister How many engineers were deported in the making of this mecha? Looks like it could use a little more firepower, like another mini gun on the other side.
Many. Many were deported. They should've paid more attention to what they were doing. I did try another gun on the left side, but it didn't look as photogenic. I quite like making builds that look nice and clean.

Quoting Keith Goldman Nothin' like cooking hotdogs on a heat-sink. Unfortunately you are in violation of specification #5: "Your Mecha MOC must feature a number somewhere in the design(sticker or brick built) I cannot find a number anywhere. Once you've fixed the problem, head over to the DQ Zone and ask for a re-check. It shouldn't be a problem as you there won't be any nation vs. nation conflict the first turn. Good luck!
Whoops. I had that license plate all ready for this purpose and forgot to attach it. I'll get that sorted when I get a chance. Thanks.
