Hi everyone. Some of you may allready know that im leaving MOCpages for an unknown amount of time and i wont be making any new MOCs for a while:( So far its been a really great time with all of you guys!!!:) .Since i joined last September with my Lamborghini Diablo until now, having a look around at all your amazing creations, commenting on yours, reading your kind comments on mine and working on your requests - long story short: Thank you all! its a supreme community here which i really enjoyed being a part of. At the moment i just got to focus more on other stuff... Knowing this day would come, i really wanted to finish my scaling ideas to somewhat perfection in a very modern car - and of course share with you:) . So, here is my final MOC: The Lamborghini Aventador in different model versions! enjoy:D
About this creation
I dedicate this MOC to my good friend Eric S. Cheers mate!

Being an absolute Lamborghini fan, it just had to be another one for my last MOC. I really listened to what some of you guys thought about the Newscale (NS) Diablo i recently made. The loss of detail was big on this one. Having it had in a top view, i call it now the "square", since it doesnt have a single curve. But it layed out the bricks and scale for this one. I consider this a "next level", i even managed more detail and more functions than in my old scale. I also improved its stabilisation like a lot by changing its platform.

Here i have all generations on top of each other, everything is resting on the shoulders of my very first MOC;)

Pls take the time to enlarge the Pics, quality clears up!

A comparison with my NS Lamborghini Diablo, both 7 wide cars.

i got rid of the square design, the Aventador is better shaped in my opinion. From that platform, i think i could redo a Diablo in a more accurate shape.

A comparision with an official LegoŽ racing car set 60053, to get a better look at what scale we are actually talking here about.

This may not be Legos best set for a comparison, but i chose it because pretty much everyone knows/owns it. The new Speed Champions theme for example contains also good detail and clever techniques, but still is too high for my City understanding

I kept the smaller tires cause i find em best working to get loooow in height.

They are also pretty precise in scale compared to real Pics of the car.

Now the functions: It has working doors, a bendable roof, some interiour design, a motor to be placed in and out and most important of all: 2 Minifigs fit (or rather lie down) inside.

Next to the minifig, this supercars height is on the height of a shoulder, even more than just below head;)

I made the Roadster a non door version, because then i could make those cooler side air intakes^^ but of course, doors are possible and wouldnt look bad. This is also a sweet render in my opinion, i like how the colour turned out.

and the back view, actually my favorite part of this car:) Stole its technique from my old BMW i8...

I also made a LP 750-4 Superveloce. Same build, just different colouring. i just couldnt decide about front design and spoiler...which one do you like best?

For quite some time i wanted to post something on lego ideas, thats why i keep instructions a bit secret sometimes:P do you think this MOC would do well there?

Again, thanks to you all for your support, feedback and kindness. i also would like to use this MOC to say some special thanks to those favorite builders of mine who have commented/liked on pretty much all of my stuff, helped with PovRay etc, discussed about everything concerning cars and even made friends with me. i hope i gave everything in return...

Furthermore i hope you enjoy this MOC as much as i do, pls feel free to rate and comment:)

As always, greets, ron.

PS: i will post some WIP the next following days. Some things i just couldnt finish due lack of time. Im also active on my mail account o.k@outlook.de, you can write me anytime about anything;)

Quoting Harry Gravett I thought I had already commented on this, perhaps not. Amazing work for such a small scale Ron - the shaping around the rear is fantastic! I have just finished my last GCSE exams and now I am free for the summer, having a few months with little activity on here was hard, but nevertheless I am really excited to be more active on here again :) I will miss your creations on here, so please return when you can!
Hey Harry, thanks for your kind words man! Good to hear you managed your exams and you can now be more active again - as you read, for me its now the time to be a lot less active:/ I will miss those awesome car creations of yours for quite some time! but i know, when im back, there is lots to look at in your collection;) until then, again thanks for stopping by:D many greets, ron.

Hey josiah, thank you a lot for your feeback! to be honest, its actually a 7 wide, just made sleeker on the rear in witdh to 6+. (no true 6 wide) But yes, im glad you feel that way about my MOC's and i really hope to see you again on pages. Of course feel free to check out my collection;) Bye for now, Ron.

Quoting Scott Bertaut Some great cars here, you are really good at attaching parts in unusual ways to get the shape of the cars right. By my calculations, Minifigs are about 5 feet tall, so you might want to factor that in in the height of your cars. Oh and because you have mentioned having very limited parts, Bricklink is your friend. ;) Shame you are leaving, but I myself often drop off the pages for months at a time. You just earned a favorate builder since I want to get the email alert when you start uploading again!
Hey scott, first of all: Thanks for your kind words on my techniques you noticed! much appreciated. Secondly: i disagree with minifigs being 5 feet tall...they would be, if those were human proportion lengths in its limbs or you compare it to the woody minifig from the toy story sets http://76.my/Malaysia/lego-toy-story-3-woody-minifigure-legoland-1108-10-Legoland@3.jpg. BUUUUT, if you say for example, like im saying, that standard minifigs are just as high as a full grownup human in proportion (180cm), a bit more meaty around the legs and belly with a very trained shoulders width at the same time (lol, or waring ridiculously square clothing), this scale is correct, even a bit too big in factor;). If you do a bigger scale (like my older one), your minifigs will literally become dwarves! its a choice, and the choice is yours;) i just choose it to be the "big and square humans", giving weapons and adult referred objects more sense ^^. and last but not least, thanks for adding me as a favorite despite thinking otherwise of proportions. we have been in discussion often and i really enjoyed it;) in fact, i made a moc technique for your door issue, viewable here http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/414455 . many thanks to you! i'll come back as soon as i can mate! greets, ron.

Quoting Firas Abu-Jaber Good work on these great models! I say don't leave, you can always still build even if you're super busy, you'll find the time, I can tell, since I had a very long dark age around a year ago. It's just a state of mind, physically you can always get access to your bricks. So don't let your mind control you. Good luck either way.
Hey Firas, thanks a lot for your support recently! Im glad you liking those models, even though yours are more the realistic "giants" compared to my tiny little beings^^ Always a pleasure to see your stuff, your aventador with its sharp design really got me inspired in the first place to do a minifg verison:D i should post a grey painted one soon. Many thanks for hosting the contest, i hope you could either fix or get a (new) computer. It was a great idea and even pushed me out of my 7 wide comfort zone. Quoting Sam the First Wow. Definitely going out with a bang! I really must congratulate you on your success, and you deserve it. You have such an unbelievably unique style, and while I kinda disagree with your scaling, to be honest, your MOCs are still always incredible to behold, looking incredibly accurate with insane techniques being use. For these reasons, I respect you. That first SV version was just awesome, your best work ever. See you later, Ron, best of luck for the future!
haha yeah, i wanted to put everything i could into this one! Thanks for noticing and the congrats! Concerning that scaling thing i always come back to, i must say, i wouldnt have thought of it myself that i would ever use those "tiny" tires. At first i thought "what am i doing?", but i knew it wouldnt be an easy task, since lego fenders really are easy and fun to build with...do miss those blocky space taking things^^ . I consider this Aventador the first Moc in which this scale works as a complete picture. Thanks for your honesty and glad that my older stuff works out for ya. Im still on the lookout for your nissan skyline btw;) many greets and thanks for visiting my post right from the start! ron.

You go, but leave at least your knowledge in brickbuilt form here :) about the Aventador, I really never saw such a small car with such excellent space usage. It rocks as always!
Hey man, nice of you to stop by and thanks for the kind words! life matters are now to be pursued more intense, thats why i called this decision first place. Sometimes i spent hours on a daily base just looking around everyones stuff, now it will be around once a week. I should rather state it as "very low activity". Hope that it clears up some time so i can work on something new again. I bet we will be in contact, i keep an eye out for your MOCs (like for everyone elses;). To the MOC, glad you like it. I found detail needed to return, so good you noticed:) keep it up, greets, ron.

Quoting Mister Hashtag OK, well there's a positive...I only say "don't delete your stuff" cuz some guy name Lego Jim left MOCpages too...and deleted his account -_- At least you won't be ACTUALLY gone, I mean, we still will get signs of your existence :P XD
right, im not totally out of the picture, just a lot less active and no new MOCs. You will encounter my existence via likes and comments as often as im able to;) Who is that lego jim anyway? was he in the minifig car business? shame to delete stuff here, would never come to my mind....

Quoting Geoffrey Welch Ever since I joined MOCpages, I've always been impressed by your creations. They are a true mark of creativity and ingenuity. I hope you come back soon!
Thanky you Geoffrey! nice to hear that you find them impressive, but i can return the favor and honestly state that your recent car MOCs are absolutely fantastic and very unique in its appearance. The vast amount and diversity you made in such short time impresses me still:) Keep up the good work! greets, ron.

Very glad to hear that you will check back every once in a while, at least once a year! LOL I have not had the opportunity to comment yet on all or at least most of your creations so also good to hear that you will not delete all of your great stuff!

Good work on these great models! I say don't leave, you can always still build even if you're super busy, you'll find the time, I can tell, since I had a very long dark age around a year ago. It's just a state of mind, physically you can always get access to your bricks. So don't let your mind control you. Good luck either way.

Wow.
