The view from the castle windows of Earl & Lady Grey.
About this creation

The leader of the Endearingly Republican Royalist Movement is David the Red Spaceman. However, the real power behind the throne, the щminences grise, are Earl & Lady Grey. These powerful figures are known to most people through their blends of tea. In reality, this couple are the decision makers in the ERRM's campaign in Decisive Action 2. Earl Grey is pictured here wearing the traditional headgear of an Earl of the ERRM.

Strangely, the Grey Castle is actually built in traditional Lipton Yellow stone. The view from the castle's windows owes much to the work of Leonardo da Vinci, which is why the two halves appear not to match. One window shows the main tea processing factory of the ERRM and the other shows a rail-link.

Fourth Wall

I had hoped to include Earl & Lady Grey's secretary, Klamm, in the photograph. Unfortunately, he proved very difficult to get hold of.

This build was designed to meet the Category 12: Infrastructure, requirements of Decisive Action 2.

Connoisseurs of my kitchen table will be glad to see its re-appearance. It can also be seen in this airship MOC and this mining truck model, plus many of my other builds :D

Nice to see the table back on MOCpages. The MOC placed upon it is excellent too - a simple forced perspective that works really well. 5 stars

Quoting Nick Barrett Classic! The forced perspective is very well done, and those figs! I just love seeing these guys :-) This moc has it all, even a nice cup of tea.
а Sorry for usurping one of your trademarks but I've wanted to use my maxi-figs ever since I saw some of your builds with them in. They really help to force the perspective and I'd like to use them again.

Quoting Pico van Grootveld ERRM: Return of the table. XD You are finishing up your DA2 Building list very nicely mr Roberts. This could very well be a painting. The layering is superb and makes for a great shot. Cool to see the masterminds behind all that tea business ;)
I really enjoyed puzzling this out and might do one based around Classic Space. It could have Maxi-figs in a control room, mini figures outside in the near distance, a micro-scale layer further out and then a background. I just need some time and some bricks!

I wish I could award bonus points for the Eric Carle mug. Earl Grey's hat is truly regal. General, you are specifications-accurate and ready to build an empire.

Quoting Sean B That's a great table. I really like that it has a lot of character, unlike a lot of these modern flat-packed ones. I also enjoyed the MOC.
Hmmmmm. I may have to collect lots of different shades of brown Lego and build a MOC of my kitchen table. It would be bound to get 100+ likes!

Quoting Topsy Creatori You out clevered us all with this! Nick will love the figs, Parr will love the yellow, and I will love it too! I will also smile, reeeallly... I was smiling the whole time I was looking! :)
Thanks! Unfortunately the square icon for this build cuts out the 1970s homemaker figures. I can't wait for Nick's response, as they are rather one of his signature pieces. I've got about 7 or 8, which came from my sister's Lego collection.
