Next up in the line of Constructicons is Rampage, the guy who originally had Atlantis flippers for his chest. No, seriously, that was his original design. Go look at it. There’s a link below. Anyway, that aside, I wanted to give this guy a bit of individuality, as the original one transformed into a basic ‘thing’ with a claw at the front. As Long Haul did the exact same thing, I tried to make this guy as unique as possible. I did keep some elements of the original, though. The chest design has been somewhat emulated, but instead of flippers he has a locking mechanism that has the same outward motion. The other main element that carried over was the arm/shoulder design. The original had the treads become the arms and shoulder pads. They only become the arms here, but the idea crosses over. Other than that, he’s a completely new guy. He’s also one of the only two that doesn’t use a similar transformation to the other Constructicons. Well, technically one of the three if you count Vos, but he’s debatable. In fact, I’d say that although Vos has a much more complex transformation, the legs still stretch out to become the front and the arms still fold up at the back to get out of the way. Therefore, he’s one of the only two transformers with a different transformation. The second is actually next week, forming the waist. But for now, enjoy this guy. :)
About this creation

Wow, again! This is awesome. Two days in a row I end up on the home page. This is gonna be awesome...

Starting off with the LDD file again, we once again have a colour scheme of primarily black with green and grey highlights.

The alt mode here is a basic construction vehicle with whatever pointing out at the front, but I won’t go into too much detail here and save it for the actual vehicle mode photos.

Once again, sadly, some of the bricks don’t fit in vehicle mode for LDD despite fitting perfectly in real life. My guess is that although it isn’t an illegal; technique, it doesn’t recognize it because of some unseen coding box around the actual brick that cannot be penetrated by other bricks.

Okay, NOW we can go into detail in regards to the vehicle mode.

The key elements of this robot mode are the compact nature, as everything tightly fits together, and the front spikes, made from the spare chest pieces.

This block on treads does have an open part on the back, but that’s just for the combiner port.

The large object next to the tower section is actually the sword stored up in the vehicle mode. This time, I actually photographed the weapon/combiner kibble storage.

It simply folds out like so.

Or, if you insist, you can remove it entirely.

Apologies to all citizens of Germany. I am not going to change my song in the movie, so unfortunately you will not be able to view the videos.

Seriously, though, your copyright rules suck.

And here we have him in his robot mode!

Holding his sword with his tiny arms, he’s got a real bulky aesthetic to him.

He may be a bit back-heavy, but he compensates with heel spurs.

Remember that sword? It’s actually combiner kibble, and this time it’s much better disguised! Unfortunately, there is some other partsforming as well as the sword. The tower section unclips and gets pegged in at the bottom. Still, if Hasro is still making people do it with Cyclonus, then why can’t I with a little bit of Gestalt goodness…

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And now we have the right leg!

As I said in the previous MOC, the right foot had to be modified to accommodate for the arm kibble. It still retains 90% of the original articulation, though, and the ankle pivot is untouched.

The sword covers up the head, the robo legs just chill down along the back and the arms become the aforementioned kibble.

And that’s all there is to say!

Very complex is the whole, as I see it. I can well understand that you have invested so much planning.
