Alright, first decent sized build I've done in a long time. Tried to get my rockwork going again, as well as just landscaping techniques. Basic stuff.
About this creation

What may have just sounded like an arrow being fired to another, signaled the final straw of treason from my former companions. Instead of giving "me" a decent burial, they had just decided to burn my body in the middle of a swamp. Rage swelled up within me. I knew there had to be a few loyal men left, so I hardened my heart to the traitores, and began my plan to "thin the herd".

I gazed upon the men cheering for my death, and it became apparent that most of them were against me. Even some of the men that had saved my life at one time in their service of myself.

Soon the decoys body had burned to bones. The hooligans grew silent, and were preparing to leave.

As they gathered their things, I stepped forward out of the fog, righteous anger surging through me.

It became immediately apparent who my allies would be. Three men sprang into action, two of them thrusting their weapons through two of my higher ranking knights.

The third fired off his crossbow, taking down the archer who had fired the shameful arrow that had burned the body.

Then he turned quickly and shot down another assailant, just as he drew his now useless sword. The first man had turned and pushed another knight away from the crossbowman, saving his life.

The second man engaged another raging, but clumsy, orc, while I dispatched another knight who had attempted to swim across the swamp and attack me.

The second man quickly threw the orc down by using his own force against him, and quietly ended his traitorous life.

Meanwhile, the charging knight brushed past his attacker, only to be dodged by the crossbowman, which gave the third man an opening, which he quickly took advantage of.

Outside of the main fight, another man had tried to sneak up behind me, but at the last second I flipped my sword around and ran him through the chest.

One of the more cowardly orcs attempted to flee, but he wouldn't have much luck as his two assailants closed in on him.

The cloaked man threw his sword at the orc with great accuracy, and took him out of the fight.

"Today you have made Rainos proud! Let us make our way to the council with this disturbing news!"

And with that, we took our leave.

Tried something new with the swamp this time, noticed I had a lot of those vines, and some green flags, so this is how I used them. Thoughts?

Shot of the cliff/hill thing. Just a little piece to help me practice my rockwork again.

Impressive! This story's really good, and while the build could be better, it's definitely good. Hope you stick around for a while yet! Keep it up!

This looks like it could be a pretty good forced perspective mountain, but otherwise, very nice. ;P

I think that, if you built the banks up a little higher on either side of the swampy bit with the vines, that would be a very effective technique. You've really hit the ground running.
