You've done it again. Not really, it was all me.
About this creation
This is my latest MOC from the sand dune planet Sand Dune. I have decided to once again rip off the Reich theme in all its glory.

Unfortunately without knowing which picture is which while I edit this page, my annoying humor will be lacking (just a heads up). Also, I have realized that mocpages looks horrible in Firefox, which is most unfortunate. I recommend using Internet Explorer for viewing this page. Moc added Nov.21.2007

What happened to making pages via Brickshelf. Now I have to learn how to do HTML crap all over again.

The base took about 2 weeks to build. While not as large as PCS Airbase 4
(which was deconstructed for the project) It is much more intricate.

I have no idea which picture I am commenting on right now. This is my three year anniversary with mocpages, Reich Station 33 being the first MOC I uploaded. You may gander back and see how much my lego skillZ have improved. It is also interesting to note that I have not bought any legos (besides the new A-wing) in four years. So what you see is not an influx of new pieces, but rather greater use of pieces I've had for several years.

Pipes and power generators. Can you do any less. The two guard tower-esque buildings were the first thing built for this base. They were completed back in June, I just didn't have to time to construct this base before now.

The gun is an intricate work of art that is probably my most favorite detail on the whole MOC. Compared to the gun that I thought was glorious three years ago on Station 33, this gun makes that one look like pure s^&*.

The fence which circles the base was tacked on to make the area look enclosed. Don't like it? I don't either, but this is a lie.

Does your landing pad have fiber optic landing lights? That's what I thought. It doesn't. The landing pad took me the longest time to build. I had to get everything just right. The fiber optic trick is cool, maybe someone can pull it off better than me.

Mini Riech Gunships that I have codenamed Iron Falcons. Meant primarily for ground troop support. You can probably notice the resemblance between these and the gunships from PCS 4. I took someone's advice and made them light grey. A T.O.R. squad is seen in one of these pics somewhere. Glow sticks or Beam Sabers? Beam Sabers.

I have barely any grey pieces left. I am but a poor Lego pauper.

Some construction pics and the rear end of the base. I added a rail line, since that is a dubious association with Reich MOCs. Please also excuse picture quality as the pictures were a bit rushed. I wanted to get this on mocpages before the thanksgiving festivities begin. Also I must add that I ripped someone else off too, those boxes on the landing pad were not my idea, but if you don't claim them in a review, I might just take credit ;b

Happy turkey day.

So huge and good! Great, really PS: I would like to know, was this inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune series (given that the planet is a sand one called Dune -and not Arrakis- , it is somewhat similar)?

It is both large and a great design. I especially enjoy the landing pad. Lee.

Another amazing job Jon! Nice to see your back to building. I love your ideas for the large turrents and the room that looks out over the small road. Your designs are excellent.

This is fantastic, but I agree with the guy below, this needs its own theme/story. Using those fiber optic cables to light the landing platform was brilliant.
