G1 Transformer: Bumblebee (V1)
Introducing G1 Bumblebee (inspired by Chris Roach, Alex Wong and the Almighty Jervis). Bee is fully transformable with no parts added or removed. He can fit one minifigure comfortably in vehicle mode (although I could probably squeeze in two if I wanted :) I tried to make him short and chunky (maybe a little too chucky) like the original G1 version. He transforms a bit differently, but I hope I captured his look. Enjoy, and please feel free to rate, comment and ask questions!

Quoting alex wong Wow. I like it! A really cool bumblebee!
Thanks Alex! As always, yours was a huge influence for mine. I'm pretty much finished with V2 as I wasn't quite happy with his alt mode. Robot mode is nearly identical (although he now has horns) and his vehicle mode more closely resembles a VW Beetle. I hope to post pics soon!

Quoting Scott Bourgeois Great Bumblebee, Daniel - though vehicle mode reminds me more of a Fiat than a VW bug, LOL. LOVE the transformation! 9.95/10!
Thanks Scott! I'm actually in the process of modifying him (V2) to hopefully address the Fiat issue as well as his lack of horns in robot mode...stay tuned :)

Quoting Tanner Compton Very cool! I really like the G1 feel of the character. Would it be possible to add heel spurs to the back of his feet to balance out the legs? If not, it's all good; it looks like he can stand just fine!
Thanks Tanner! He stands up ok, but I should do something about his balance as it isn't the greatest. I was thinking of adding locking hinges for his legs to make him a bit less likely to collapse, but heel spurs would probably help too. Hopefully I have the pieces :)

Quoting Brett Lane Nice job! I love how he can still fit a minifigure in car mode, yet the transformation and robot modes are still well done!
Thanks Brett! I like to try to fit minifigures in my vehicles if I can. It made him a bit pudgy, but I'm ok with that tradeoff.

Quoting Humanoid Typhoon Sweet build and great job with the transformation. I gotta build a transformer soon. He's missing the horns on his head tho.
Thanks! Yeah, I thought about the horns, but they couldn't fit in car mode. Maybe I'll try to figure something out.
