Ferrari F50
Built for Harry Gravett's Dream Drives 2015 Contest!!
About this creation
SPECIAL NOTE: Uber-huge thanks to Sam the First for rendering the main pic for me and helping me make this model better!! :D

SPECIAL NOTE NUMBER 2: The only picture which is my final model is the rendered pic; all the others are version 1 which is worse. To see the final model from all angles,PLEASE CHECK THE LDD FILE!! I'm sure most people have LDD...:P

Link to contest: http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/25289

So you may be saying to yourself, "Self, I wonder why on Earth Mr. # would build a car that is uglier and slower than the F40, yet more expensive!!"

Well, the contest is summer DRIVES, not summer "take your car to the Nurburgring and race the wheels off." In other words, the F50 is much more comfortable. It's fast enough. It sounds much better than the F40 in my opinion. It's even a roadster! To me it's like the Porsche 996 Turbo; it gets all the hate for nothing. (OK, Porsche could have added round headlights. But the engine had a racing block!)

But enough backing up the car; here's the model!!

Oh, as per contest rules, we had to choose a road that we'd drive on. I chose Stelvio Pass. In the land of Ferrari, and probably the best road in the world!!

It's smiling. And it's watching. Always watching...

Yah. That windshield was a pain in the [censored]. -_-

Side vents for the win.

The engine cover opens, trust me. This is version 1; version 2 (in the LDD file) has an opening canopy...look in it if you don't believe me...

The lights seem a bit...wrong...

My first interior that could be remotely called an interior!! :P

This engine...does not exist anymore. It couldn't fit with an opening engine cover in version 2, so I had to trim down the engine quite a bit...still, I like to think that this is the engine... (Check LDD file for engine now.)

Yes, the doors open. I originally forgot to include any features, but then I realized we were gonna be judged on that...

So that's that.

Thanks for looking at this model!! Be sure to rate and comment any suggestions :D Expect more 10-wides coming soon!

Quoting Yann (XY EZ) Excellent model Mr #! Love the shaping, looks pretty accurate. The only downside would be the rear lights. I would move them half a stud into the middle. Otherwise it's great! Well done!
Thank you Yann!! Yeah, the rear lights aren't the best. I didn't think of doing that, maybe I should try it out, thanks :D
