Cabo Agave is one of the main launch sites for Tequilatron sattelite rockets and other long distance rockets. The site has an own manufacturing facility where the rockets are assembled.
About this creation
Cabo agave is supplied by a trainyard connected to the mainland and by seatransport. Astronauts and platform crews arrive by VTOL transports, which land on the local helipad. Assembled rockets are transported from the manufacturing facility to the launch site. This is done by a special truck. Once launched, the rockets are monitored by the tracking facilty, accompanied by its large dish.
Decisive Action 2 Category 11: Space Program
Space is the high ground. Orbital assets contribute directly to a nation's capabilities in a multitude of diverse fields. The true strength of space capability is that it extends so far beyond mere military applications, directly affecting a nation’s economic and global cultural relevance. Active Communications and passive communication monitoring. Weather forecasting. Force location and readiness. Early warning. GPS. Disaster relief. Search and Rescue. Prospecting and exploration. Deforestation and global climate change. Maritime law enforcement. Global communications and digital market architecture. From space, the entire world becomes not only finite, but tiny. In DA2 the power afforded a nation by having a space program is represented by the Space Power MOC. Your Space Power MOC must comply with the following 5 specifications:
1. Your Space power MOC must include a rocket.
2. Your Space Power MOC is a micro-scale diorama.
3. Your Space power MOC must include a control facility and a tracking facility with a parabolic antenna.
4. Your Space Power MOC must include a rocket assembly building.
5. Your Space Power MOC must include a rail yard with train tracks.

Large sized overview of the platform In the background, several Tequila Boom Booms can be seen, along with several paired Limelight fighters patrolling the surrounding skies. Behind the platform, Mayahuel VTOL birds fly along to join forces on the mainland.

Bonus 1: Tequilatron rocketScaled version of the Tequilatron 'SAT R-002' rocket. Powered by Octan fuel, deploying sattelites around our war-torn earth.

Bonus 2: Tequilatron Ion satteliteOne of the payloads of the many rockets is the Ion cannon. It is deployed to supply heavy artillery support on the battlefield and to take out larger tactical locations. Sunlight is harvested and transformed into a powerful beam, burning everything in its path.

Looking forward to seeing something like this from you this DA round as well. It is by far my favorite among your DA2 builds. The design and photography are both incredibly clean.

Papa T tips the cap thanking the TC. I chose to use paper sheets instead of photoshopped water this time, see how it would turn out. I'm not yet convinced what's best but I'm glad you like it!
Scale is everything in this little world, the sattelite is supposed to fit in the top area of the rocket, like regular space programs. I upped the scale on the standalone rocket build and then again went bigger for the sattelite. Couldn't resist.. it's space man ;)
Quoting VAkkron ™
Here's another like for Papa T! Nice aerial shots; I enjoy your realistic water background in each one. The addition of the land adds a great dynamic to this MOC. Wonderful features, well-rounded work, top editing as always: definitely my favorite dio in the game. But I'm puzzled to death how one could fit that satellite inside its rocket!?! Good work, Pico.

From a purely building perspective you are one of the best General's DA has ever had, your MOCs are truly a delight to review for accuracy. General, you are specifications-accurate and ready to dominate the orbital battle-space. Good luck on turn 7.
Also, General, if that Tequilatron stickier is not a LEGO product, would you please stop using it in any subsequent builds. I know you've used it before and I thought it was Lego, but that has been brought into question. I will not be retroactively DQ'ing any MOCS or this one, but again, if it isn't official Lego, please discontinue using it. |

Thanks Keith, that is one fine compliment to receive. I'll frame that quote if you don't mind!
The Tequilatron logo and stickers are based on the original LEGO CS logo, with a slight color change to suit the custom theme. But I guess it's not a 100% legit as it's not LEGO licensed (YET!) I'll not use them anymore in the remaining builds, thank you for being cool about this build and the rest.
