About this creation
Built for category 12: infrastructure

The Grand Guitar Factory (spec #2), highly spotable for its high chimney, produces a great variety of music instruments.

A conveyor belt comes straight out of the factory to the railroad (spec #1). Here you can see it carrying an amplifier, a harmonium, a guitar and a piano.

A diligent employee with a very small helmet registers the cargo on a notepad, while his colleagues (with normal helmets) check the quality.

The GG Factory in all its deconstructed forced perspective glory :-] (spec #4)

Now for a few details...

The freight wagon...

The maxifig scale piano...

That's it! Pretty simple but I had fun building it :-)

I think the FP would have been more convincing with some kind of "mat painting" in the background just like movies (what? You don't have some big lay out in your pocket?! Too bad!! :) ) But the work on the guitar is incredibly accurate and what about the piano, it took me 5 minutes to catch how you made the black notes!! Stunning!

I think that is the best brick-built piano I've seen. Oh, and nice visual gag with the helmets to demonstrate the forced perspective!

Beautifully constructed Tom. How otherwise to expect from you is a very high level of detail to recognize. The piano is top notch, and the guitar is a feast for the eyes.

Always nice to see a Maxifig :-) You've used him well, and the piano's ace. It all is.

Perhaps my favorite forced perspective, well played. General, you are specifications-accurate and ready to build an empire. Good luck in turn 7.

Quoting General X How about some nice Joplin to set the mood? Then bomb the competition with pianos to finish it. Nice work there.
If the Gods of War are with me, I have other builds in mind ;-) Thanks X!
