About this creation
(The Grandmaster’s Palace, Coruscant)

Senator Harrick- This is madness. In all my years, such a measure has never been considered.

Baron Milos Milosmir- We have also never faced threats of this kind – terrorists, invaders, a demon.

Harrick- But martial law? The people of Coruscant –

Secretary Rufam Harad- Senator, I know you care for your constituents, but we must be prepared!

(Champion-Regent Eoghan growled as he restlessly turned away from the Triumvirs)

Eoghan- My brother, if only you were here. Instead, I alone remain: a regent in a shattered citadel, listening to the bickering of fools.

(Interrupting the debate, the Palace door swung open, as a Guard rushed in)

Guard- Regent, Councilor Kyros has escaped from prison, and he is coming here!

Harrick- Coming to the Temple? What could he possibly hope to gain -

(Without warning, the Guard was flung across the chamber as Uthyr Kyros marched forward)

Uthyr- I seek only what is mine, Senator.

Harad- Guards, surround him!

(Rushing into position, the Palace Guards aimed their blaster-rifles at Kyros)

Uthyr- You Hypocrite! I made you Harad, and I can just as easily destroy you.

Harad- You should have escaped when you had the chance, Councilor. Now, you will pay the
price for treason. Take him into custody.

(As the Guards moved to apprehend him, Kyros raised his hands, blasting them across the room)

Uthyr- You fools, look at this ruin around you! Regent Eoghan, I implore you, hear me.

Eoghan- Very well, I will listen to your plea.

Harad- Regent, this man has committed treason against the Crown-

Eoghan- The Crown is not here: I rule in this kingdom! Now, speak!

Uthyr- Eoghan, you and your brother were our most valiant warriors, but both of us know that without him you are a broken man. I only ask that you let me do what is necessary to bring order to this world.

Eoghan- I should cut you down for speaking of my fallen brother . . . but I know that your are correct. Do what you must. Thus have I spoken.

Harad- What? But the Crown only appointed three men to the Regency Council-

(Whirling about, blue-white bolts of lighting leaped from Uthyr’s fingertips, crackling as the coursing energy sent Harad back against the table)

Uthyr- Do not concern yourself, Secretary. A vacancy just opened in the Council. Now witness the fate of traitors!

(The Temple of the Eclipse, Zoist)

(Lord Loquor walked briskly down the shadowy hallway as thunder resounded from the storm outside)

(As lightening flashed through the viewport, Loquor paused and glanced about)

Loquor- Hmm, strange. Perhaps it is the rain, but I thought I heard footsteps.

(Snapping immediately to attention, the Crimson Guard saluted)

Loquor- Patrol this passageway. There is something amiss here.

Guard- Yes, Lord Loquor.

(Reaching the end of the passageway, three of the Imperial Crimson Guards stood motionless before the Sanctum)

Loquor- How strange to find you without your brother Guardian Brask. Now, let me pass.

(The hulking Guardian remained silent, while a raspy voice hissed from the rafters)

Guardian Kulter- No man may enter into the shadows, without passing the test of blood.

(Wrathfully, Loquor activated his lightsaber and whirled around, aiming his blade at the knife-wielding Guardian’s neck)

Loquor- I have no time your games, Kulter. Now, stand aside before I sever your head from your body.

Alchemist Kaxgol- Machines are the future, soon there will be no place for your superstitions.

High Sorcerer Nekron- Machines may keep you alive, but Ancient Sith Lore makes us all powerful.

Prince Imperial Rogov- This talk is useless! I yearn for battle against the Jedi.

Loquor- Patience, my Lord. A word in the right ear can be more effective than legions of soldiers.

Darth Hyram- Indeed? Do I even now, hear you dare to whisper in ear of my son, the heir to the Sith Empire?

Hyram- This bickering divides us. Remember the history of the Sith. Only unity will bring us victory. Now, your report, Lord Loquor.

Loquor- My Lord, the Jedi are weak. Their Champion fell to my blade, and Lord Reaper bested their king in singe combat.

Rogov- Then why wait any longer? We should annihilate them!

Licinia- Wait!

Hyram- Licinia, what are you doing here? Where is the Jedi princess?

Licnia- Husband, the Jedi have a hidden army of warriors on Ilum. I narrowly escaped with my life.

Hyram- It is as I feared. Without the Princess, we cannot force a peace treaty. We must consider war-

Emperor Siderov- Enough! I tire of this discussion. I sense the Champion of the Light yet lives, therefore we will not move against the Jedi. Now, be gone!

(The Sith bowed before shuffling out of the presence of the Emperor)

Siderov- How much longer must I suffer your obedience? Will I never attain the honor of an afterlife in Caelum?

Hyram- The Sith need unity to be strong. Thus I obey.

(Far in the Catacombs beneath the Temple, the eyes of the Oracle, Sibyl, glowed in ecstasy)

Hyram- Tell me what future you foresee.

Sibyl- I see . . . the great moon hovering, a crimson disk against the black sky . . . then a crack, many more, and the great disk shatters, as the golden sun turns the shadows to light.

(As the vision faded, Sibyl collapsed, to the cool floor, while Hyram paced to the door)

Licinia- This is an omen. Think of our son: the Jedi will destroy the Imperium and exterminate our Order.

Nekron- I have a vial of poison here, your father will pass peacefully into an eternal slumber.

Hyram- No dishonorable treachery. My father deserves a final battle . . . I only hope that I will not suffer the same fate.

(The door slid softly behind Darth Hyram as he activated his crimson blade)

Siderov- I foresaw that you would come, that this night would be my last.

Hyram- Yes, my father, my emperor. This is the only way to save the Sith.

Siderov- I will not die passively. I will only fall to a worthy heir.

(Leaping down from his obsidian throne, the Emperor slashed his golden scepter into Hyram’s blade)

(Breaking away, Siderov ascended the black steps, as Hyram parried the Emperor's attack)

(Overpowering the Old Man, Hyram send the golden staff flying across the Sanctum)

Siderov- You have learned the art of the blade; now, witness the power of the Force!

(Hyram raised his blade as lightening cracked around the chamber, illuminating it in a blue glow)

(Exhausted, the Emperor fell back on his throne as Hyram summoned the scepter to his hand)

Siderov- Then you have finally bested me. Now, I may go to Caelum in peace.

Hyram- Enter into the eternal slumber, my father, and let darkness overshadow you.

(Suddenly, Hyram whirled about, and slashed the scepter across the chest of Death’s Mask)

Hyram- Ah, so Death shows his face! Here to take the life of another Sith, and send our Imperium into war with the Jedi.

Hyram- Your thought to conceal your manipulation and false servitude, but now, I will end you demon!

(The dark spirit grinned as he pointed toward the throne)

Death’s Mask- Death has already come.

(Hyram turned about in terror as Luca, the Herald of Death, cut down the Emperor)

Luca- None can escape Death.

Hyram- Father! My father, what have I done? I thought to destroy Death’s Mask and save the Imperium-

Siderov- I knew you never meant to end my life . . . but do not weep for me: Caelum awaits.

Hyram- Rest now, father. Rest.

(Trembling as he stood up, Hyram turned about and lifted Luca into a storm of Force lightening)

Hyram- So the Jedi are in league with Death? Then know that this is the fate that he brings!

(Enraged, Hyram turned to Death’s Mask, a fiery stream of Force energy springing from his fingertips)

Hyram- You should have brought more assassins, but both of us know that Death is merely a mask you adopted, and I know the one technique to drain your very life away.

(The Grandmaster’s Palace, Coruscant)

(Kyros stood over the smoldering body of Harad as a Guard rushed in)

Uthyr- If only Juran had lived long enough to die at my hand . . .

Guard- Lord-Protector, an army has assembled outside the Palace, they are requesting to speak with you.

Uthyr- Impossible! How could the Sith – unless . . . Marshal our forces. I will see this mystery force myself.

Author's Notes

At long last, here is Ch. 16 of Age of Darkness.

This will be the last chapter to feature the eternal delays between chapters because I have finished production on the last four episodes and the epilogue (five in total).

The final chapters will be released in rapid succession this week and will conclude by Thursday of next week if not before.

Finally, enjoy them while you can because whilest I have enjoyed writing (and remaking) these many comics, I will be departing to university and unable to produce any more series (or creations for that matter) for the foreseeable future.

As always let me know what you think and thank you for viewing!
